Exactly! Not necessarily a mockery, but up until this point with the red light (the spikes as of "Hard Mode"), I felt like there's not really anything dangerous there. It was "just" the real corpse, real blood and stuff.

​@@-angel-6371Those camera angles are intentional. The clunky feel of the game is 100% intentional, it causes you that much more panic because it's hard to control the character precisely. This scene would be infinitely less scary if you could very easily maneuver out of the way.

I swear, this part gave me some form of mild PTSD. I couldn't use my school's journalism dark room without feeling panicky. And you can forget about it if I had tinnitus! But it got easier after experiencing a few rounds of New Fear. You just have to memorize all the camera flips, and get good at avoiding wall hugging. Still, screw you, Borley. You suck.

@@Chuked It's worse in SH2, in the hard mode Maria gets killed with two attacks from pyramid head making this part almost impossible, I had to search for a tutorial and in order to succeed you have to stand in fron of PH and attack him with the the first weapon you get and Let PH push you while he walks because that way he doesn't do the impalement attack, making this part so anticlimatic... needless to say that this is not necesary in normal por easy mode cuz Maria doesn't get killed with the first attack she recives. I love SH more than anyone, but this part is very poorly designed, wether it's from the 3 or 2

Oh gosh I remember reading a strategy guide before I played this level and being so stressed out to play it. My reflexes are not the best so I kept thinking I was gonna die a million time. Thankfully I think I did it in the second try or maybe the third.

When it comes to 10 star this is the part where you can easily lose your run. I reccomend making your 2nd save before this spot. A simple tip: when youre about to hit the wall the camera will starts to slow down. When it did release the run button immediately. Too late and you will hit the wall

Heather and Harry had been on the run from the cult for Heather's entire life, yet Harry never told Heather what they were running from. The red mist symbolises the cult. The thing they were running from. If it catches her, she is dead, yet it has no distinct form as Heather never learned about it prior to the events of the game

I remember playing this after doing downpour and I was like, "huh....so that's where they copied that moment from, only it failed and sucked there. here it was actually scary and nerve racking.* especially since on the remastered version on xbox here's an audio issue that happened inside where I couldn't hear any talking and some sound effects didn't register asides footsteps. so walking into the hall only to have a red light engulf me, took me by surprise. At least it paired up well withbthe music i was listening too.
