I know some people might feel different about the first movie and I completely understand why, but there was something about it that touched my heart and related too much more than the games. This movie till this day, is my favorite horror movie. Everything about it I loved. It’s one of those movies I can watch over and over again. The games are truly a masterpiece, I can never say that they aren’t. And I agree that they are better, but I just connected with the movie more. ♥️

Random Huntley Thanks, It's always a bit unnerving listening to this. Just thinking about that bad time; how close I came to doing the unthinkable. It scares me a little.
@modnar35108 жыл бұрын
JackconReecetV I felt the same way about these songs. They make me feel odd and it evokes mysterious emotions from me, and I don't know why. There's several other songs that do the same thing, and they're primarily instrumentals with no voice. These songs make me feel dangerously nostalgic for something I can't even remember. It's weird. Anyway, life is amazing brother. The key to living life is love, and forgiveness. Jesus was a perfect example of this, and I'm not a Christian and don't believe in a deity. Some take five crooked steps and feel the glory of god, others take a thousand perfectly aligned steps and still don't. There's men who are responsible for genocide and atrocities who are standing in heaven, and there are priests and reverends who are burning in hell. The path we choose to take will not be relevant in the end, only our understanding of love and forgiveness will, because it triumphs over all. Hatred is not human nature, it is artificial, it cracks over time. Love and forgiveness is the singularity point in which we evolved from, and it's what we will ultimately diminish to when we leave this Earth. To deny our very nature is spiritual suicide. Jesus is a manifestation of knowledge and understanding, love and forgiveness. You don't have to believe in a deity to utilize the message of Jesus, or any of the wisdom contained in the books. It's universal knowledge. Once I started living by love and forgiveness, it changed my life. I smoked DMT one time and this entity told me that it's vital for me to 1: Learn how to love 2: Stop being selfish. I'm still working on both of them, but it's already proving to be the what I needed in my life. I wish nothing but the best for you, Jackcon. Take pride in the knowledge and understanding you have of yourself and others, and build on it. Love

Though I was aware of the Silent Hill game series well before the theatrical release, it was the movie/s which brought me into the world of Silent Hill. Took some time, but I managed to play through what I could get my hands on, though was limited to my older PS2. (AKA, The Brick) One of the best game series (aside from Metal Gear Solid) that I've played. Excellent story is only but one small piece of how truly terrifying this game can potentially be. You are pushed into a cesspit with fear bellowing from all sides and only dimly lit paths and corridors to lead you to what may be hope, but only to be led deeper into the looking glass. But what I loved more than anything about what I played, was the music. Dark, eerie and uncomfortably melodic. It matched your visuals seamlessly, as if being dangled over a an abyss only to face a certain cataclysm that your fate has bound to your very mortal coil. I believe the only other game series I've played which may match Silent Hill would be the Alan Wake series. However, Alan Wake lacks the true sense of loneliness and near certain madness; but both share a very peculiar vibe with the mixture of environment and music. Just thought I'd share a little thought.

As a huge Silent Hill fan I ordered tickets for the first movie way in advance and went to the midnight showing. It was on the east coast and a storm had blown through just a few days before, laying a lot of fog and wind in the area. I watched the movie and was spellbound by the cinematography, creepy sound effects, and otherworldly music. When I left the theater after the show there was a thick blanket of fog that I had to drive through to get home. It was one of the most surreal, loneliest feelings I can remember. The music stuck with me forever.

I love this sort of music where it's calm and pretty, but also haunting and slightly unnerving. Great music for drawing to.

I love it when something like a background music can give me shivers. Even though these soundtracks are somewhat creepy, I find them very calm and comforting. Listening to them at night for me... is quite nice. ^_^ Thanks uploader for this magnificent music.

So idk if this is weird or not but whatever. I absolutely adore these movies and the soundtrack is so beautiful and unique!! Nobody understands how happy these movies and the soundtrack make me.. I love them! Especially the “promise (reprise” and “never forgive me, never forget me” they give me such good vibes and automatically put me in a more relaxed mood. (:
