If you watched that without being aware of that much, I wouldn't blame you for finding it awful. I must agree the ending was definitely rushed and the Sotsu portion got repetitive as per storytelling structure (this is being fixed in the manga however).

Mr Yamaoka's work for me is what makes Silent Hill 2. He needed to be creative because of the limited hardware of those days. Which gave the sound designing character which i never heard before. Like lofi cutt-off repeating samples which perfectly fits this games ambiance. He truly is a big inspiration for me!

Looking forward to Sh F, seems like a neat setting. Kinda gave me Fatal Frame vibes mixed with madness of Silent Hill. But it’s hard to match up to excitement left by PT, now that was a true game changer, and I didn’t see anything like that in this showcase. If they had truly listened to the fans, they would’ve worked on reviving PT first. I mean everywhere you look when you search Silent Hill, PT results show up, makes it obvious how much its wanted. As for SH2, I’ll be cautiously optimistic, Bloober just doesn’t do horror well even though they make good games on technical basis.

Silent hill 2 looks alright. remakes are never as good but it will be a good thing overall i feel. Silent Hill f looks extremely interesting to me. the rhizomorphic mycelial tendrils , the cordyceps-like growths that bloom into flowers. the overall fungal and plant theme. I very much look forward to it. reminds me of siren , with it taking place in a Japanese village

@@johnpapadopoulos8895 i know ive heard it but now that ive tried to find it in the soundtrack maybe its one of the reimagining of the songs by akira yamaoka but i think they said all the music was from sh2 at the end of the transmition

So much stuff. Hopefully, PT fans will get what they want, and I'm hoping Silent Hill 1 and 3 also get the remake treatment. Silent Hill f looks very promising and like a great new direction. Though, I would like to meet a Silent hill fan who thinks the movie was good.

I'm very excited about the movie and you can actually thank Christope and the producers for encouraging Konami to make more games, as they stated the new film was the catalyst to revive the franchise.

Konami is like a drug addict. Always making messes of their IPs then crawling back when they run out of money. It seems the pachinko industry took a major hit after 2020 and now Konami realizes they have to sell video games the real way.

I like that in some parts of the presentation the dialogue is as stilted as in the games, they are really commiting to it this time. I'm glad SH is back
