It's good because it satisfies baby's natural constant urge to suck Protects mom from being a human pacifier at night that helps in her healing and better sleep. It's helps to soothe baby if mother isn't around. Cons If used even once baby reaches 2 years of age it might create problem with teeth ( it's just a probability) In India no one suggest you to use because people are not well informed and they get unnecessary fear regarding anything that's not introduced to them by their parents but the irony is same set of people would happily offer honey to their just born and gripe water to the infants 😅 As far as habit is concerned if one day you can wean off your baby successfully from breast milk then why would weaning off from pacifier is a big concern in general? Never seen any 5 years old using pacifier right, So what I mean to say here is decide based on your own parenting consciousness and not because any one else is saying YES or NO to it. But do not introduce to your baby because some one uses it always discuss with Pediatrician and then decide.

Yes ,my doctor told me that you need to monitor your bp and sugar test atleast 1 months. And She had given me instructions that donot eat sugar and salt more otherwise bp and sugar problem will not go out.. I had followed these instructions very well. Now, i donot have sugar and Bp problem. My baby age is 2.5 years old

I suffered from high BP post delivery, though I had no BP issue throughout pregnancy no one informed me about post partum BP, I had 180/90 BP, Thankfully it got diagnosed on time, Than I was shifted to ICU and than got it controlled.

My sister faced a lot of issues with BP after delivery, she came home and within 2 days she got paralysed and thankfully she is getting better now. So this info is something doctors can let us know to monitor

Hi Shona, Yes, this postpartum hairfall is scary. In this condition Rosemary oil with carrier oil will be really helpful but I read somewhere that it is NOT ADVISABLE FOR PREGNANT & BREASTFEED females. So please take the doctor's advice if you want to try it.

First of all lots of love and kisses to neevu. That day when you told about your maid saanwan ka upvas, mujhe bhi doubt aaya ki abhi toh saawan start nahin hua. Its okay, uska extra punya mil jaayega... Anyways, i want to tell you something shona, i feel we are little fortunate ki modern husband takes interest in spending time with the kids. I am slso lucky in that regards. Because it makes a world of difference in such family where both parents involve in a kids upbringing. Aise main, kids give respect to mothers also even though you are a home maker. I won't say it happens everywhere, but i observed it. Because of this mostly mothers feel dejected and depressed in future when kids grow up. So its a must that both parents are equally involved. One more thing is this is easy for fathers who wfh, but those who go to office should try to make a small effort from their side to know about what the kids are doing. What do you say.
