@@supergabriel2042 I actually wanted one way before this video lol, didn't get a 6820 though, I got a ifp2000ecs which to me is a little bit cooler since there's 8 flexputs (input/outputs)

Only weird thing about this particular one is the "All clear" Message has an alarm whoop instead of a normal Chime lol but other than that pretty cool system. Silent Knight is pretty decent

Doing a military base myself currently did you have to tie into any mass notification systems?

Did you actually use the 6860? I am curious why you need both annunciators. Or is the 6860 just for the fire alarm?
@ZachS0134 жыл бұрын
The reason you were having so much trouble with switching between messages is that you have to take "ECS control" at the FACU or the LOC before you can make changes. Also did you put a LOC at the remote building? If so how was that surge protected?

I spoke wrong between the 2 buildings we have a 6820EVS and both 6820EVS have EVS-LOC. So between both buildings with have Single Mode Fiber Cards. And we have 6860 Remote Annunciator in Network Mode to display both Sites on the display. If you noticed I figured out that I had to log into the panel to take over controls.

Hey Oscar we are doing military base here with identical panel. I would like to chat about how you loaded the mp3 file for the message. Your system came out great!

@@timglivefree yes I believe the software is called voice load, but you have to create a text to speech file which you can use any software to make that

can pick up the mic on the 6820EVS and announce on the speakers?
@oscararredondo644 жыл бұрын
Yes you can switch from the 6820EVS and the LOC-EVS and make announcements from either location. If you start at the main panel with the mic and you want to use the mic on the LOC you need to tell the the system you want to switch controls.

How can I turn the volume up on the speakers?
@oscararredondo643 жыл бұрын
If your audio is too low, more than likely the audio was too low when recording to the EVS. If you are using the default tones and messages and your audio is too low, then you to change the speaker Tap. Example the EVS is 25volts. So you would normally set your speaker taps at 25 volt 1/4 watt for a Good audio volume. But if the speaker is set at 70 volt 1/4 watt the speaker will be very very low. Hope this helps and hope you understand what I am trying to say.

Where did you get the voice messages from?
@firedetectioncompany-fdcos97694 жыл бұрын
I created them with a text to .mp3 converter
@firedetectioncompany-fdcos97694 жыл бұрын
I created them. I used a TEXT to MP3 converter. Which creates the Audio files. Then I made a Patch cord and wired it to the Input side of the audio panel and dumped them to the panel. VIA the steps from the manual. Pushing play on laptop and keying the mic then releasing the mic once message stops. Now you can pull the messages out of the panel for future use to dump into other panels.

Could you please reenable comments on two of your other videos by setting them as "Not For Kids"? (which really should be "General Audiences" instead)

WHY ARE THE AMBER STROBES FLASHING WITH THE FIRE ALARM MESSAGE? THAT’S NOT UP TO CODE
@joeycaridi30303 жыл бұрын
Because whenever you select the speaker messages it will make the amber alert strobes flash. Thats what the army base required when you select a speaker message. The white fire strobes will still flash when a pull station or detector gets activated

Sounds like you need to reed the code again Jason Laferrier
