You don't even need to make up a new story either, just switch from the original song's theme of Christ's first arrival, to the 2nd coming. "And He opened the fourth seal... behold a pale horse, and it's rider's name is Death, and Hades followed him"... It really screams as an intro for a solid heavy metal album

Where did they all go? Driveways are full No tracks in the snow Heavy are the toys in my sleigh No little hands reaching out, eager to play No smiling faces on Christmas Eve Tell me somebody! when i came across this song i just closed my eyes and let the music transform me. the first opening segment was calming, relaxing, a gentle ease to the darker parts of the song. then with my eyes closed and mind relaxed, 1:07 rang in my ears, and for some reason the image of a fountain, frozen mid flow in the dead of winter, being illuminated by a full, brilliant moon. 1:22 the main character walks into frame and sits on a bench next to the fountain and opens a music box they had on them, filling the night with the eerie notes of 1:44. and for reasons unknown to the viewer, the main character sheds a single tear, staining the snow around them. it may be 1:41 am rn but i feel like i just had the inspiration for either the best drawing, or dnd character of my life.

Silent night, humanly plight People quake, in fearful flight Atrocity streams from perdition afar Hellish hordes prophesy dysphoria Geist's hour favor is borne Geistlich behavior is formed. Insult woke culture and you get canceled. Insult Islam and you would have to fear for your life in many places. Insult Christianity and millions of peoples faith on their second most important holiday and it’s all cool apparently. @ayla-402 жыл бұрын
@@flavie1185just because some people have it worse doesn’t mean others can’t feel pain or sadness. While all you mentioned is definitely terribly sad, the realization that your life will never be as new and exciting as it once was is a loss all it’s own. A different type of loss and a different type of sadness but it’s real nonetheless. Sometimes are own thoughts and feelings bring us more pain than anything else can. It doesn’t take away from the pain someone else may be feeling from war or the loss of a loved one. Quit comparing, it doesn’t do anyone any good.

omfg this is b e a u t i f u l. yk what i thought of? i‘m German (and very uncomfortable ab that fact but that’s unimportant now) and when i was younger, i was in a children’s choir in church and we would sing this on Christmas. imagining the lyrics in German, sung by those innocent children’s voices, seeing the church’s flickering candles and high stained glass windows, the rows of faceless adults in black, silently watching? gave me a weird feeling of nostalgia and also chilled me to the bone in an ecstatic kinda way. god i love this, you did an amazing job.

The first part made me think of a child who found his family murdered; the second part is the child has become a teenager who spent years going to all lengths to plan his revenge on the murderers; the third one is the teen exacting his revenge by killing the murderers one by one with cold-hearted brutality; the fourth one is when the teen went to the graves of his dead to tell them they've been avenged. Sorry, this kind of music turns my writing brain, not on, but ON.

5:00 - Dude, that hand-crossing is the most relatable thing I’ve seen. If the melody is lower than the backround I have to cross hands, I can’t just play normally by swapping the backround and melody. Learning how to play the melody or backround in the opposite hand is like trying to learn a new language when you already know one to begin with.

I bought the sheet music and it's really fun to play! Excellent work. I find the transition back-and-forth between 3/4 and 4/4 in the dramatic ending to be as equally disturbing as the minor key😁 but it works well when you go to full 4/4 for the octaves and run. The ending brings it back from that grand climax back to dark again.

I woke up on Christmas, though it wasn't the Christmas I knew. Nobody was there nobody to comfort me, nobody to eat with, nobody was there. I felt alone, not the depressed kind of alone but, an emptiness alone, I felt less and less and by the end of the day I felt hollow. Nobody was there to help. I was stuck in an eternal darkness of emotionless black. I got hope when I heard knocking at the door, but when I opened it, Nothing. I am truly alone, I went to bed a while ago now, I didn't fall asleep. I've been writing this for days now. Word by word, what else is there to do at this point. Entry #2 I FOUND SOMEONE I don't know who they are but its a Human! Though they have been acting strangely lately. They just stare at me while I sleep, when I ask them to go away they do, but it is still creepy. Entry #3 Don't trust them. Don't trust them. Don't trust them. Don't trust them. Don't trustthem. My pregnant wife is in the other room and I’m quarantining in our spare room alone on Christmas sleeping on the floor in a sleeping bag next to an electric heater with vents and bottom of door sealed with blankets to keep them safe. My fever has increased for the past two days. I hope it breaks before I do. So far my lungs and nose are clearing, O2 is good, but I’m deranged with fever, lonelier than I’ve ever felt, and grieving the horrors of our past three years. I’ve lost friends and family and there’s no reason to believe I have any special protection they didn’t have. God help us all.
