No other singer I know of has Lucy's ability to bring tears to the eyes, sometimes even when she is barely a few notes into the song. So rare.

Travis, your emotional reaction to this sister duet is totally understandable. Lucy and Martha undoubtedly have a natural gift but in addition, their shared genetics have created unearthly harmonies of exceptional quality. Individually, they are fine exemplars of vocal virtuosity. In harmony, musical magic starts to happen. Thank you for your ongoing support of highest quality music.

I do appreciate your heartfelt reaction. Note the end of the song, Lucy looks at Martha, saying with her eyes, "My beautiful sister. I am so proud of you". That, to me, was so heartwarming.

The sound here is just soooooo pure....it's unreal. I'm ready to give these girls the vocal crown now (well ages ago actually). They're just on another level in every way. Lucy has the purest voice I've ever heard and her only competition looks like it might come from her sister. Martha was on her heels here. Just amazing. Period.

Hi again Brian, i to am an emotional wreck during Lucys rendition of "Someone You Loved", it seems that the video is somewhat overlooked, possibly because there are no gimmicks, just pure unadulterated musical genius, still one of my absolute favourites, as i have said before it tears your heart out, a master class of understated beautiful delivery, have a great christmas!! Indescribably beautiful from these two talented young ladies. But we really shouldn't have been surprised as this standard of performance is the norm for Lucy and Martha. The only thing missing is your dear wife. It would have been fascinating to hear her reaction to this wonderful performance.

Sabina, I know of personally, at least 5 to 6,000 men in the "Lucy Thomas Official Fan club" who cry when Lucy sings. I'm one of them. What Lucy does goes beyond mastery. Lucy's music goes into your ears and makes it's way straight to your soul. That, I believe, is what makes most of us crusty ole guys tear up. She is good for our soul!

Part of the chemistry between them really is genetics, as you said, because their mother Louise also has a great voice! You should react to the mother/daughter trio of them singing Charlie Chaplin’s classic 1936 old song “Smile.” Lucy and Martha have done several wonderful duets together, all reaction-worthy.

Yes, indeed, the Thomas sisters have a special sound together. Do not think that they have done bad song. All are so good, and full of emotions. Thanks for the heartfelt response. Not to detract from lucy and martha, but you might enjoy the National Danish girls choirs. They have been on the go since the 1930's, with the kids gradually making their way to the senior Pigekoret, (girls choir). You could try DR Pigekoret sing River(Joni Mitchell), Magnum Mysterium or Blackbird....to start with. The Juniorkoret sing a great White Water Hymnal, or Klimer et Klokker. The Bornekoret are great in singing Somewhere in my Memory/Carol of the bells of En Pige pik I enge. Give them a listen. I can forward you links if interested

Well..... it's the family genes that the 2 sisters can sing, they do a beautiful job and harmonize beautifully, BUT.... that is NOT unusual as there are THREE siblings that sing and harmonize that I have found, LIFE IN 3D, two brothers and a sister that are also unbelieveable check them out they have 42 songs recorded and 4 CD's.
