28:20 was epic..! I just discovered these guys on Spotify a few weeks ago and I'm so glad I did. They are freakin epic man. Very cool how the front man interacts with the crowd and explains the messages behind the tunes. Totally makes it more intimate. Thanks for uploading in such good quality by the way!

One of my favorite bands ever, but why do so many bands feel compelled to have such ridiculously high singing parts? What's so wrong about a baritone voice? The bassist clearly struggles to hit these notes live, so why not try singing one octave lower? It would fit the music IMO.

Theres a difference between not being ableto hit notes because they are not fitting to your voice or because the lyrics are filled with emotional weight, i actually love the way the bassist misses notes

Thomas Owens Yes. Mitch explained it to me in Dallas. They run a second guitar track, along with their backing tracks, to have a fuller live sound while only having a single guitar player. Hope this helps!

ive always wondered how you got the cymbals to sound good without overhead mics (well, i cant see any at least). are you just using the bleed from the other mics on the kit? Great mix too by the way :)

Martin Curkovic absolutely correct. I don't gate the tom tracks, I just ring out the harsh frequencies I don't need. The drums are very minimally processed for these videos, mostly compressed.

Freakyfyed I'm using a program called Capture which is made for recording multi tracks pre-processing while you run sound, then I bring the tracks home and mix them in Pro Tools

1. Metal is about guttural emotion and connection with the audience. 2. Singing over heavy riffs just doesnt sound rught. 3. People who play this type of music are next level musicians. I'm a jazz player and metal is next level
