watching jake discard a 3 cost sneaky strike because of its cost is so painful as a backseat gamer, when you know he doesnt take into consideration that it gives 2 energy back effectivly costing 1 energy to play

Hate to blow smoke, but goddamn Jake got good at this game fast. I have a lot more hours than him and am still looking for an A20 heart kill with the knife lady.

I played the game a lot but not for awhile . Was A20 something they added later? i didn't even know you could kill the heart till i started watching these videos.

@@gingerbill128 yeah, originally the Ascension levels went up to 15 and the game ended with the Act 3 boss fight.

He cheated his way to A20, cheated in all the unlockables, installed mods to make the game easier (to learn), and does tool assisted runs. Did he get good fast? Yes, but it's not as impressive when you look at it in context.

He's said as much in various streams; he's pretty open about cheating. He'll do whatever makes a game funner for him; no shame in that. Why would you assume Jake's better than me? The way you talk about Wraith form (the card), it sounds like you think the dexterity malus only applies while wraith form (the buff) is active. It doesn't - your dexterity decreases every turn until the battle ends, you purge it with orange pellets, etc. Frostpunk 2's supposedly easier to mod. You can't use unfamiliarity with the dev console as an excuse to avoid modded challenge runs. Kudos for holding it together against the awakened. That was tight.
