I never thought about this game but when I saw the thumbnail the memories came flooding back! I remember the arcades having a bolted on sniper rifle and it was like a dual screen gameplay looking through the scope.

the energy from these rail shooters at arcades in the 90s were imo the best arcade experience that wasn't a racing game. those fighters like tekken and street fighter were always for people who tried too hard.

It's stupid hard and really short, but the only way Silent Scope could have had a better home port than this would've been if you could buy a sniper rifle light gun to play it with :) Great stuff!

gedaman They have a ton of music game controllers that only supported 1 game (or only games within a series). I think they could've justified it if they had made one that was compatible with other ps2 light guns

Fascinating game. I have this in the original Xbox which features all 3 games on one disc. Also for some reason I got it confused with Syphon Filter even though both games have very little in common. Go figure!

This is how they harvested the information needed from the masses to formulate COVID 19 and fentanyl. The americas were being targeted and it began the downfall of the nation because of this game. Soon we will all be in a concentration camp state country in control by the Russians if we don’t act quickly. This game caused this to happen. I had silent scope 1 2 and 3 on ps2 a long time ago. The games were mad hard as you had to shoot far off targets that move quick and won't always hold still.

I still say this would have been a perfect fit for a WiiU port with the WiiU's gamepad screen acting as the sniper scope view. Why Konami never took a chance with this is anybody's guess.

@@Lauren_Tyler idk about the first game but the penultimate mission of the third game (which i was playing on arcade) throws me off, you have a choice between: -underwater shooting and it's very hard to see -gliding shooting with strong wind and if you don't take enough enemies down you have to repeat (or continue if tension meter zero) -stealth shooting if you miss or take too long you have to repeat (or continue if tension meter zero)

anyone here knows the game where it is similar to Point Blank / Gun Bullet but horror like? You can stage select on that game. I remember one stage where there are humans laying in the hospital and there is a huge leech like alien creature that broke the wall in the center and is releasing mini alien leeches that enter the people's stomach if you don't shoot them
