Watch as I continue to fumble my way through this excellent submarine game.

I rather be in a heavy bomber in WW2 than a submarine. I don't like being underwater too.

One torpedo hit on a natural "2". This does +3 Hits critical damage to the damage die roll if the torpedo does not dud.

Because you don't have SJ radar, you should have moved to the 2nd patrol box before (re)rolling your dice. You don't get to reroll unless you HAVE SJ radar.

I always loved "The Hunters" myself. Start off sorta easy at the start of the war....with a crappy Type VII sure (THAT THEY NEVER LET YOU TRANSFER TO A TYPE IX!....yeah i might be a bit bitter about that)and the difficulty ramps up as the war goes on. Never have finished off the game alive in a Type VII........ And as I am Navy....I couldnt do sub service either...ships are not supposed to voluntarily sink! also.....to save yourself time rolling dice to find out what ships you are facing...head over to board game geek. Im sure they have files for cards you can print out that has the ships on them..so you just draw from a deck rather than rolling for each ship. speeds time up.....but does require some work to print them up.

OG you are my hero. I had no idea there were files for cards instead of rolling off on the ships. Its the only part of the game I dont like just because it does take so much time and rolling.

Damn it looks like those cards exist for The Hunters, but not Silent Victory :(

damn.....thats to bad. would have thought someone would have made up cards for SV as well....there is always the alternative method I use...just roll up 20 or 30 ships in a row for each class before hand. then all you have to do it tick them off as you encounter ships.
