Oh miniatures are so great. The ones I have are more aimed at grown ups- but I had some like this when I was a kid too- My grandma was a carpenter and we built a dollhouse from the foundation up together- roof shingles, installing the little door- laying miniature carpet- it was a great experience and I was so proud of the result.

I really want to lug up my giant dollhouse from the basement but it's SO HEAVY. Maybe sometimeif I can drag it up I'll do one of setting up the whole house!!! Thank you Kell- you are, as always- an absolute delight to hear from

I have been making videos for almost a year now (& watching for 1 1/2 or so), which is pretty cool- I'm so happy that the community has grown SO much in that time. I love that we can find things that are so specific. That there are multiple people making 'quiet activities with miniatures' videos is just mind boggling- and awesome.

mmmmmm.....tiny persian rugs! This is an instant fav! I can only imagine the treasures contained in your basement...thank you for finding the minis! They are wonderful! And you should totally make shirts that say good evening youtube!

The dollhouse itself is pretty cool too- it was jsut too damned heavy to lug up from the basement- but when it's all set up I love to imagine myself tiny enough to sit on the couch and read that old harpers.

Esmeralda, I love ALL your videos, that's incredible. Even if I have a list of my favourite whisperer, there's always some that I don't like at all or I so boring that I can't even start to watch them. You are a collector for sure. I am as well, but also struggle with space constraints. I have a video of some unique objects you might find interesting. Not nearly as polished as the production of your video's, but you were definitely the inspiration that got me to finally do one.

That was so fun to make! You wouldn't believe some of the crazy miniatures I've seen online. Tiny hookahs, tiny satanic altars (srsly!), tiny lingere, etc etc. It's nuts

Haha, you are so welcome my un-nephew. Your house is 112?!?!? Man- the pacific nw is full of awesome old houses. It's one of the reasons I bouth the place- I refused to buy anything newer than 1940- because that's really the time houses started looking all cookie cutter. I have this crazy unique door in the floor in my laundry room that's completely unique- I'll have to share it sometime.
@SilentCitadel12 жыл бұрын
Me too! I'm glad it wasn't too distracting
@SilentCitadel12 жыл бұрын
Yes it is!!! I totally got it at Value Village, lol. They are actually mass produced- it wasn't used. I got it around halloween- b/c they give great deals on cheapass costume stuff- lights, makeup, etc. They had some stuff in a "steampunk" line- and this was one of em. It was 1.99, no kidding. check you local V.V. this year, maybe you can find one!

There was a huge problem with my mic in the mini murder scene video, but the piece itself is one I'm really proud of. It got shown at an art gallery and everything. Thanks for subbing!! I've got oodles of weird videos. They're all defintely unique. Some are less triggery and more just interesting or whatever- I've focused less on trying to produce asmr and more on trying to be interesting and a little different, since there are SO many great pure asmr channels already

I'm always shocked by the fact that they have such neet stuff. A lot of it's the cheap mass produced stuff- but you'd be surprised by how good some of it looks if you balance it out. I go there every year and rifle through the trash- and always surprise myself with how many treasures I emerge with.

@SilentCitadel12 жыл бұрын
I agree- I think there's an evolutionary componant to it- some part of our ape brain that gives us an extra jolt of happyjuice when we're calm, safe, quiet, and not alone. All the more incentive to live in a community and contribute to wellbeing of those besides yourself. I suspect we all have it to some degree- though some people resist or have not been able to tap in to it yet.
@SilentCitadel12 жыл бұрын
And I LOVE yours too, so isn't that convenient??? I started out very specific too! I was ALL about tapping at first- I didn't like whispering at all- it seemd a little vain and egocentric (sounds so harsh now) but then I found Maria and changed my tune almost immediately- I finally "got" it. I pretty much like all of it now- I'm less fond of some sorts- but it's all super relaxing. I think part of it might be getting over the "weirdness" factor.
@SilentCitadel12 жыл бұрын
It's funny- I'm a pretty unusual person myself (obvs- I live in Portland, need I say more?) but even I was made uncomfortable at first by some of the role play type videos- I recall being toally freaked out by visualsounds1's first makeup video (which was sort of the catalyst for all the others I think) at first- then feeling a weird pull to come back and watch it again, and again- the repetition got me over the strangeness, and I grew to love them.
