WOW! These are so amazing!! What a wonderful idea to hand make your own Tarot cards. I checked out your etsy shop and hope to buy a deck soon. I think I have the same last name as you as well. I very rarely come across people with the same last me.

May I breathe now? Honestly, I am completely blown away by the beauty of your work here!!!! Funny, but the Empress always turns up in my readings, and she happens to be my favorite in your deck. Your rendering is SPECTACULAR . Please tell me the brand of dimensional gold paint you used. I just love that look. And of course, this vid is ASMR perfection.

Many people get purely visual asmr. Some people it's just sound- some both- and some imagery only. Fascinating the differences we all have, no?

It's on etsy now! There's a link on my main page, or you can just look up "silent tarot" on there. They've sold very well- and of a run of 125, there are fewer than half left! I'm thrilled you like it!

At the beginning I wasn't sure about the scratching bit because most of the time scratching noises irritate me, but you do it very calmly like you don't have a care in the world. Love your work and the way how you're spiritually in tune with your cards. Ít's like you almost scratch and tickle your cards to life "if that makes any sense" You're awesome! from the Netherlands

I agree with all the comments here, your art is truly lovely, especially because of the love and dedication you clearly put into it! (Oh and all the glorious melt-inducing sounds that come with it don't hurt either!). Not to mention your very relaxing voice... favorited & subbed, can't wait to see all your other videos! You make me want to run home and dig into my pile of art supplies and start creating again :D

Thank you! Yeah- I'm WAY more pleased with the new fool as well. It was a GREAT suggestion from a viewer/ pal that I really took to heart. I don't ever mind constructive criticism- I'm not a delicate flower that can't take suggestions- that road leads to bad art and misery or an inflamed ego or all of the above. My deck is available on Etsy now, if you're interested! There's a link on my youtube page. It's a little spendy, but worth it!

As relaxing and mesmerizing as this is, I had to stay awake to see each card. They're hauntingly beautiful, and I will definitely be checking out Etsy. Now for round 2 of the video for sleep. Oh, and even though I'm here typing away, I am with you on the silent reflection and thought. People don't think any more; they just 'do', and I think that's been, and is progressing into a larger problem.
@Indrid__Cold13 жыл бұрын
You crafted these with the same intensity of thought as i would expect from one of the original divinatore' creators. I favor your interpretation of The Hermit most of all. The rust component hardens to the days when that pigment was actually used. I also appreciate the respect you show the cards even though you do not use them. Your candor and honesty are duly noted and appreciated.

Some people use tarot cards for fortune telling, though originally they were for games- they were the first kind of playing cards ever invented, and later, after some changes, they became the common playing card deck we know today
@Darkii1Dream12 жыл бұрын
you need to stop listening to asmr for a few weeks, then just listen it again. It will come back. if not, just wait a little longer :-)
@SilentCitadel11 жыл бұрын
the devil card is actually not a terrible card, as far as the whole fortune-telling thing goes. The Tower is the worst one- and the Moon- even though, at least in my mind- the moon sounds pretty innocuous. Anyway, thanks!
@BurgundyStone12 жыл бұрын
Definitely worth it! After all, soooo much work and materials went into the originals, that much is obvious. Thanks for the word up, I'll definitely finagle my way to owning them. After all, my birthday is coming up. ::Grinch face >:}::

That's VERY exciting. Thank you so much :) There aren't a lot of people who really make me tingle much either- I find a lot of them relaxing/ fun/ sleepy-inducing, but I don't get major tingles that frequently- anyway, I take your words to heart- it means a lot

Not sure if this would help, but I find that I really like gently touching my face with soft watercolor paintbrushes (without paint, of course) while watching videos to increase my asmr and simulate the real feelings of makeovers/facepainting. It's quite nice even when unrelated to the video. If you don't own any brushes, any thin watercolor brushes with very soft bristles would do. I hope that helps, but it might just help for me. Good luck!

So I must be 100% honest when I noticed she was whispering and fiddling with the textures of the cards it creeped me out. I love tarot decks that are creative like this which evokes emotion and inspiration (I understand SC doesn't believe in divination, but its important for a deck to connect to the reader). Once I got hooked on the art I couldn't stop watching the deck come to life and definitely going to buy the deck before its sold out. Fantastic job! Though some of the images allude me...
@Isabienne12 жыл бұрын
I like the fact that you create and enjoy tarot cards, without actually believing in their powers. I don't believe in any supernatural stuff and I always thought I was a little weird for enjoying the art on tarot cards. :)
@SilentCitadel12 жыл бұрын
Yeah, it was a little weird at first- I had this big internal debate about whether to make them or not- but eventually decided "it's art, to hell with it". In theory you could play poker with these, so it's up to the user to either use them for divination or gin rummy or whatever. Also, don't feel weird about liking the art- it's beautiful! Some tarots date back to the 1500s or older, and they were first used for games, not fortune telling :)

@TrollReviewer Stuff from a lot of genres, but I'm picky about specific artists. My favorite musician is Dax Riggs- He's been in a couple bands and been solo, and I pretty much like everything he's done. I listen to a lot of classical and I'd call that my favorite overall genre- my favorite album is probably the Velvet Underground & Nico. I also like Mazzy Star, Jose Gonzales, Iron & Wine, and a lot of spacey relaxing stuff- plus some local indie (Dear Nora, New Bad Things)

@TrollReviewer I also like some really grody punk (Cancerslug), as well as some really random stuff: Natacha Atlas (middle eastern pop), Tom Waits, Cowboy Junkies, Portishead, Andy Mckee (instrumental Guitar), John Fahey (my favorite guitarist and second favorite artist of all time), Tom Lehrer (yes, humor, but also very smart) and a smattering of some other stuff. How about you???

@TrollReviewer I'm not a huge fan of the rest of the Velvet Underground's stuff- I really prefer the one album. Anyway- that's a good era for music that you like! And underground? EH- a little I guess- I used to like some way more obscure stuff but I'm mostly grown out of it. My dad's a total audiophile. One of my first Xmas gifts was a '45 original pressing of the Sex Pisotols God Save the Queen which I broke immediately. D: He also gave me the Eurythmics on vinyl which I still have
