Hey Silent, if you don't already include it, please add lag burden values to the description of each of the farm tutorials so we can plan where to place them without making our game unplayable. Also, it would be nice for tutorials to include how to safely deactivate all the auromatic farms. But if i remember correctly, I think you already have deactivation info in your tutorials.

Speaking of flexing, I built the 24 village raid farm. I had to tear down half a mountain so pillagers wouldn't spawn on it. I gave it an emerald floor with sea lanterns every 3rd block (it snows here). Currently I have this HUGE cave system under my base and I'm besieged by slime. There is a 3 chunk row of slime chunks. I don't have the storage yet and I'm going to add lava blades to the killing floor. Glow squid spawn in my water ways so I get glow ink as well. But I've decided to use glow lichen on each spawn floor and I intend to make each floor out of a different block. First floor is done. Material? Emeralds! Lol (however I don't think I'm going to make floors out of slime blocks and honey, for obvious reasons)

Huh? Gold farm on bedrock is super simple. Build a max sized portal over a water stream. Equip the portal with one system to constantly light it (a couple ways to do this, but a lava bucket, some trap doors, and some observers are a good way to go) and another system to constantly break it (water dispenser on a rapid redstone clock). Tie your on/off switch to the dispenser. When it's on, the portal will cause an endless stream of zombie piglins to fall into the stream. Let the stream carry them into a trident killer. Then collect an enormous amount of nuggets and occasional ingot. Bonus points if you arrange your collection system to automatically smelt the swords down to nuggets and auto trash the rotten flesh.
@riuphane
@riuphane Жыл бұрын
I'd recommend an overworld gold farm for that. Much slower returns, but quite safe to use, ready to set up, and useful to combine with other farms or afk areas. Just make sure you're processing fast enough or have an auto off switch, or the lag will be the death of your world
@adean5707
@adean5707 Жыл бұрын
@@ashtonrooks7899 I did this but I couldn't find a tutorial explaining it better I found one but had basically redesign half the redstone. I gave myself a challenge to try and make my own sorter though since I already brained through half the farm and then travelled during the holidays
@ashtonrooks7899
@ashtonrooks7899 Жыл бұрын
@@adean5707 the biggest difficulty with this style of gold farm is admittedly the collection system due in large part to the sheer volume of items. Trident killer collections come in a few different forms- I'd go with one that uses water to push items out of the kill chamber into another water stream that carries your items to your sorters. Have one sorter for gold ingots and a bunch for gold nuggets. After those probably a few sorters for flesh so all that comes out the end is swords. You can then route the swords to smelters for more nuggets. Or you can just incinerate the swords and the flesh.

Thanks so much for that moss farm. Glad you included it. Totally essential, and you released it right when I hit mid game. You should release another version with (1) less lag, (2) put the lever on the same side as the chests, (3) add the bone meal and reloading mechanism so noobs like me don’t have to figure it out how to automate it.

When starting a new world, I normally do the following farms in this order: Early game (first couple in-game weeks): 1. Simple, manual crop farms including sugarcane, bamboo, pumpkins and melons. 2. Simple animal farms (cow, sheep, chickens - mainly) 3. Basic mob grinder (early xp and drops) 4. Villager breeder / walled off safe village / potentially early trading (mending, fortune, looting, and silk touch) 5. AFK fish farm - but not always since that feels too OP and probably a bug that will be patched soon After this, I scout out a good AFK location for multiple farms like iron and the real mob farm - especially for anything that might create some lag - I want away from my main base or spawn location. In mid-game, after the iron farm, the order is less important Mid-game (2 weeks in-game until Ender Dragon fight): 6. Iron farm (prefer to do combo iron-villager trading hall - at least for iron based trades) 7. Bonemeal-based sugarcane and bamboo farms 8. The "real" mob farm using trident killer and scaffolding - although I never bother with both sides, one is enough 9. Manual or semi-manual blaze farm 10. Villager-based crop farms 11. Froglight farm 12. Slime farm 13. Honey / Honeycomb farm - at least semi-manual At this point, you are basically post-scarcity on the important items. Late game for the farm builder is all about improving or automating existing farms, adding storage/item sorters, and the more technical/intense farms. This is all a flex at this point and just gives you projects to work on in your world - especially after beating the ender dragon. Late-game (Post Ender-dragon): - All the other farms

For some of these, yeah. The villager trading is one I spent forever on, getting every trade in most professions, 76 villagers total. Some I use a lot in place of some of these other farms. Some I rarely use, but they are clutch when you need them. Just takes a lot to set up and a grind to get your resources. But totems and slime are basically the only things I don't get out of my design because I incorporate so many of the other farms into it

There are very few options for a way to get a lot of dirt. 1 removing a LOT of surface dirt/grass by hand. 2 gravel combined with dirt for course dirt, then howed or shoveled into dirt. Ways to get lots of gravel is terraforming (again) or having a bartering farm and a gold farm (portal ticking zombified piglin farm is my favorite).

@LuizNunes74 Жыл бұрын
If you have the mob farm you wouldn't really need the moss farm, which is great since it uses so much Redstone. The mob farm is a tedious build but it's definitely worth it. Make sure to install some hopper-minecart item sorter though. A gold farm is also super useful, especially if you use a reliable item sorter (minecart with hopper) and a smelting station at the end to make use of all those golden swords. Finally, I think that a blaze farm is also super important. Just be careful when building it, but all those blase rods will give you tons of smelter fuel, besides allowing you to create brewing stations so you can trade all the gold and rotten flesh from the gold farm and mob farm.

Hi Silent and thanks for the wither rose farm. I recreated it and made a wall out of opposing stone stairs, which were waterlocked as a blast shield. Also one block below your obsidian shield I made a stone cieling with water on top to protect the chicken farm. So the wither couldn't destroy the redstone stuff. (Thankfully, water has a blast ressistance of 100, way to strong for the blue witherskulls) Maybe you can implement this idea in one of your next videos.

Aren’t zero tick kelp farms with composters much more simple and productive than moss? Not to mention how useful kelp is in other ways. They are also modular and can be expanded to fill an entire chunk but why would anyone need that much kelp or bonemeal 😂

Also uses a bug, and will be removed, breaking the farm.
@riuphane
@riuphane Жыл бұрын
As silent said, plenty of issues with that going forward, but for size I think you get bonemeal faster from moss, and it's a more reliable/resilient farm.

Hey silent about the witch farm currently I am playing on a skyblock world the witches don't spawn in the hut anymore how can I fix this issue.
@silentwisperer
@silentwisperer Жыл бұрын
you might need to put a platform of solid blocks around the hut, like stone/dirt. use torches to spawn proof it. witch hut spawns are weird, there has to be spawnable spaces *around* the hut, in order to get witches *in* the hut
