I'm glad it was helpful! The CB09 can be a bit annoying to set up but they are my favorite blade to use! At least you'll be able to get cutting again!!

Either try shortening the blade length or don't fully insert the blade into the housing.

Thank you for the info. I knew there had to be a "knock-off" blade available somewhere. I just wasn't sure what it would be. Now, do you use the specific angled blades for your different stocks...or do I have my non-OEM blades mixed up? I'm curious.

There are different angles for the CB 09 Blades, but I never use anything other than the 45 degree blade. It seems that's the one most people end up using!

Wait… did I hear you right? Sorry if the closed captioning is somewhat not accurate but you said the first Rachette blade will work all cameo machine? And where do you get the black plastic piece or adapter as you called that hold the rachette blade?

Yes, the black ratchet blade will work in all machines -- amzn.to/2ttvkAa that's my affiliate link to them on amazon. But they are MUCH cheaper if you can find them in a craft store, which is tricky to do, right now, with the supply chain issues. To get the black ratchet to work with the cameo 4 you will need an adapter, they came with the Cameo 4 machines - as far as I know they are sold out everywhere. You will only need the adapter for the cameo 4 machines, the previous machines don't need the adapter. Silhouette has now come out with a 1 mm manual blade that is fatter to fit in the Cameo 4 without an adapter, it only works in the cameo 4 - it works the same as a ratchet blade without the adapter. amzn.to/3IJPpDN -- that's my affiliate link to amazon for them.
