Great video. I've been in the vinyl industry for a long time now, one trick I'd recommend for when you are burnishing it onto transfer film is to use either a rubber squeegee or even just a plastic card. it generally gives a good seal after just a few passes with light pressure. I'm just about to dabble in some knifemaking, so I've been enjoying your videos, thanks for the tips.

I’ve been etching metal stainless, copper, brass, & silver using different solutions, ferric nitrate for silver, copper sulfate + salt for stainless etc.. I have a 12 volt battery and just ordered the cameo to use with metal clay and other projects.. I’ve seen the electro etching before but this was the best tutorial seeing the set-up, procedure etc... I’ve held back because it makes me a bit a nervous but thanks to this video I will give it a try. Are there specific ratios of salt to water depending on metal? Any safety tips.? Thanks so much Nan

However, you never went over the settings for you batter charger nor did you go over the chemicals you were using to complete the etch. I did try the links to see if the information could be found there with no luck. I am interested in using this technique to mark business tools if you could please get with me that would be great.
