I just purchased a Silhouette Cameo, and was online looking for helpful tutorials when I ran across yours. The info about loading the mat was very very helpful. I love the boxes you made and will probably be trying them also. TYFS!

So cute. Thank you for explaining how to load your mat. I just got the Silhouette for my birthday. I had a problem a couple times with the mat sliding around and now thanks to you I know how to avoid that problem. I am really liking this machine.

Love the tutorial enough so I tried it. I went out and bought the white Georgia-Pacific cardstock, 110 weight. Putting my blade on #7, like suggested, was way too deep. I have a very not-so-nice outline of the butterfly box on my cutting mat. It didn't cut through, but pretty close. I ended up moving my cutting blade to # 3 and got a perfect cut.

Thank-you for such a great video. If this pic you used was snatched from the internet, how would you cut the butterfly area at the top & bottom. You have an inner cut. I can't seem to figure out how to get in there to cut that part out. My only way is to create an image of that shape & stick it there. I know there's got to be a better way. Please HELP me!

Can you use it to put cake in it?,because the paper seems a little thin... not sure if it would hold...please help.

The Georgia Pacific cardstock can hold up to muffin size cupcake. I wouldn’t go any heavier. A lightweight cake but not a dense cheesecake or heavy chocolate. Tres leches would be too soggy
