The "unfair living prices" are high taxes to pay for these people who don't want to live in shelters because of the rules. Its expensive for all the free medical care, shelter feeding programs, social workers salaries. These bums show up for the free food, go to the county hospital and live in the libraries, using them for day shelters. Bums. Run them off. My son is one of them in Ft Worth Texas. Doesn't like the shelters rules. Lives in the library by day, under bridges at night. Cons churches into feeding him, they take him to restaurants for meals. Takes takes takes. Never raises a hand to help THEM though. If they're stupid enough to give all that to him, that's their pr. He tried sponging off me. He isn't allowed at my home even for a visit. Because if you watch the KZbin videos, you see how they come for a visit, and when it's time to leave, they refuse to go, tell the law, ( when you call to get them out), that "we live here". And you're stuck until you get them legally evicted through the court. His "girlfriend" had a minor surgical procedure done, and refused to leave when she was released. The hospital called the police, and she went to jail for trespassing. And those 2 think I'm letting them come to my home for a visit? No way. I have a nice, clean 3 bedroom home. And I plan on keeping it. For myself because I work my butt off to have this nice home. They're not going to squat here and turn it into Hoarding Buried Alive.

They build ports, send their citizens to live there, and establish miltary bases. The local government can't pay the loan off and defaults. The Chinese owned business takes over. They strip the country of it's resources, employ only Chinese, and the locals are left jobless and broke. In SE Asia, drugs, money laundering, scams, etc. are frequently run from mainland China. In the Philippines, the police have admitted that Mexican cartels are funneling drugs using Chinese and Philippine citizens as couriers. What a world we live in!

I read all of the comments on the different Forms and FB & YT and the point everyone is missing is that these people choose to live like this. If you've ever tried to help one of them the conversation always starts off with "What they need and not with what they need to do". The difference between winners and losers is the Outcome. If my Outcome is poor then I will change my plans. I may have several Different Careers during my life. My conversation with a prospective business partner or employer usually centers around what I have to offer. At age 14 I had access to a lawn mower and a snow shovel and that made me a business owner. The Homeless people are not looking for a solution. They're looking for someone to help improve their outcomes. The less they can contribute and still have an OK Outcome the less they will do for themselves. We, the productive people, are entitled to a life that is not negatively impacted by and or disrupted by people who don't want to do the work. I'm sorry that I sound hard and callused but I've worked my but off to have something nice. I don't feel any need to give any of it away. I've worked 60-80 hours a week for 50 year's and have 2 community college degrees. I'm also an Honorably Discharged Vietnam Era Veteran. I left home with Nothing and I had a severely Mentally Ill mother and an Alcoholic Father. Retirement is nice and it's the result of 50 years of Flexibility, Good Decisions and lots of hard work. The people who can be helped usually aren't Homeless for long and usually find their own way out with the many opportunities that are available to them. The long term Homeless can't be helped and they don't participate in their own success. The Cost of Living is the same for everyone in the Community. If you can't afford to support yourself the problem rests on your shoulders.

Really? You think people choose to be an addict or mentally ill? C'mon.
@aliciabrowndocken46605 жыл бұрын
@Charles Pieters You are absolutely correct I was not Homeless at age 14. My Mother was a Severely I'll Paranoid Schizophrenic and my Father was an Absent Alcoholic. We lived in a section 8 housing project and went to one of the toughest schools in town. I bartered for the lawnmower and I bought the snow shovel. I had a morning and an evening newspaper route. Newspaper routes were hard to get and girls were at the bottom of the list for routes. It was in a violent neighborhood and nobody else wanted that route. I convinced them that I could handle myself. I quickly earned a reputation as an astute business person and a worthy fighter. I was a Mean SOB in those days, you had to be to survive. I had 2 younger brothers that I had to look out for. I remember that sometimes we'd draw straws to see who stood watch at night when my mother was really bad and hearing voices in her head. Sometimes life just plain Sucks. It's how hard you work at it and how good of decisions you make that separates the winners from the losers. Life is really good right now and I've earned what I have and I'll never apologize for being successful. We need to help the disadvantaged people acquire the skills necessary to work 60-80 hours a week for 50 years just like the rest of us did.

Hi folks are you ready for this I have a real simple solution. Every single public servant in the state of California will immediately take a duction in their pay and the state will reduce all taxes. These freed up funds will go to make work projects for the homeless and the reduced taxes will allow them to be able to purchase things more freely. In short reduce big government and give back to the people!

I am sorry you were so naive thinking they need any help. You wasted your time. Only a tiny fraction of them have the will to get back to “normal” life and that tiny fraction needs our help. Most of them are a lost cause , not able to function in our society and do not wish to change their lifestyle.

solomon kane I really don't understand why they aren't given trash bags and an area to leave their trash for pickup. That one shot showed a neat pile of garbage in bags. Just add the camps to the garbage route instead of having the city clean out the entire camp after the mess is completely out of control.

I’m from Tucson AZ we had a homeless veteran camp known as “base camp bravo” was for homeless veterans& they also welcomed females who where homeless. These camps do nothing but bring down your community! My dad lived a block away and would tell me how everyday there would be 30-40 homeless people a day walking across his front yard or leaving debris and shopping carts around the block some time even in his front yard .homeless people just need to get off they’re lazy tweaking asses instead of living off panhandling or the government 💯 all they’ll ever bring is crime and drug and more drug users to your side of town . They’ve infested a local park known as Santa Rita park in Tucson Arizona ,kids can no longer go there without there parents having to attend there every step cause of the crime the homeless bring
