I think Europe's problem might go beyond regulation. I recently heard about Micron's history. They started in Idaho and got early backing from a guy who'd made a lot of money from growing potatoes. The same guy invested lots of money to get Micron through a tough patch in the 1980s. Apparently Micron's founders were very honest about the risk, and didn't have much hope of getting the money. I don't know, but I suspect "only in America", except maybe for China. BTW I'm British, so if I'm wrong, it's not from home bias. J&D, thanks for the great content.

When I got to the bit about runtime assembly, I thought "sea of minds". I've no idea if that's a reasonable term or if it resonates with anyone else, I just thought I'd get it out there because the cost of being irrelevant is small.
