Are you looking for supplies in bulk? The Nylon thread I have made well over 100 wristlets and keychains with one spool. I JUST bought another spool (which I have not used yet) as I'm almost finished using the one i've had for over 1.5 years. I have all supplies linked in the description. If you buy silicone beads in bulk of 100 - 200 you get a good variety of beads. I also have some sites (not amazon) that I purchase from. I'll do a video on that soon.

@LaceyIgo

I personally like non stretchy. I tried stretchy and just couldn’t get my knots right and they would fall apart. I tested several elastic strings and because I’m not confident in knot tying them I found the nylon string to work great for me.

How much cord do you use For both key ring and bracelet
@LaceyIgo
@LaceyIgo 2 жыл бұрын
So I don’t exactly measure… but I cut a little over 1.5 of the length of what I’m using. So if it is a wristlet, I have my beads laid out and I take the cord and measure it along the beads I have laid out and do that 1.5 - 2 times before I cut. The more you make the better you will get at judging the amount you will need. Does that make sense??

Any art glue should work. Art Glitter glue, beacon 3 in 1, scotch quick dry, or Alene’s tacky glue though thAt may be too thick and harder to use. If you can any with a fine tip that will help push the string through. A syringe filled with glue may work though too.

Hi Kristen. Sorry I’m just getting to this comment. I have been extra busy with a toddler. Lol what type of string are you using? I’m using nylon thread and it seems to glide on. I’m using 1mm thickness. When I use a thicker weight, it does take some extra pulling of the beads.

@@LaceyIgo no worries I have a 2 year old of my own and she is a handful lol. I am also using the 1mm I got the same one you linked in the video. My fingers don’t seem to have the best grip I guess on the needle (which is the same one you linked).

@LaceyIgo

Yes! That is why i like using the big 20mm wood bead and that is my end point. That way I can tuck the knot into that bead as the opening is wider. I like using the glue just to secure it more. But it probably wouldn't be needed.

For the 12mm beads I use - 18-19 silicone beads and 1-20mm wood bead for sm/md - 20-21 silicone beads and 1-20mm wood bead for med/ lg

Yes. I actually buy most my round beads from Amazon and haven’t had an issue. Focal beads, I usually buy from a small company. I sometimes buy round silicone beads from Etsy if I’m looking for a coordinating set. But those do take longer to ship. If I’m just looking for a variety of colors, definitely Amazon.
