That’s the same sort of technique I use to make dice molds, mine are capped so that the full dice is made. And that is a little tricky, you just need to use petroleum jelly or talcum powder so that the silicone doesn’t stick together. Loved you video thanks so much!

I love that you show all of the imperfections of your processes. If you only showed perfection, you'd make it all too intimidating.

On the candy cane mold use a cuticle cutter and it will help remove all that loose bits
