I Love the earrings you have on. I bought a pack of clay from dollar tree just to try out because I really love the name brand ones I have. Well I put it in the toaster oven and it started smoking😮a few I mixed the dollar tree clay with my name brand one. I was worried to starting a fire cause the smoke was coming from the top of my toaster oven as well as the inside.

I have to label everything or I forget. With a black sharpie. If I want to take it off I use alcohol then I can re write on my plastic containers. If it doesn't come off , then I rub a nail file over it and then it comes off

I will be curious how you find the ScanNCut. I'm embarrassed to share that I have one that's been sitting unopened in the box! What are the pros and cons do you think? I didn't want to get a cricket because they force you to use their proprietary software, and also I'm not dependent on a computer to do cutting. with the ScanNCut. Really want to know what you think since you own both. Thanks for your post!

Quando inverti i colori crei un bellissimo intreccio che nella parte centrale giallo azzurra è stupenda. Dovresti utilizzarla, gli orecchini perdono questo particolare.

I tried something similar but my straps started out straight then would begin to slant. 😅 I'll have to try again.

haha. yeah I know that feeling! I don't mind the 'wonky' look though! If I want super even lines - I put the clay onto lined paper and use the lines as a guide :)

How do you know what size looper to use? They sell different sizes and I don’t have the money to buy sizes I won’t likely use
@TheLittleCraftHouseКүн бұрын
I measured the eye loops that I have on my pins/screw eye pins etc- to get an idea of size. I went with the 2mm as that was the closest to what I use with the other findings.

Ahh yes - i've had a bit of practice - but it doesn't always work as nicely as this for me! The secret is to get the knife on the right angle. Depending on the design - I will also do it multiple times throughout the making process - so it doesn't get too stuck.

Hi! I know I'm a year late, but just in case no one helped you with this.... Cayenne = KAI - yen (kai rhymes with pie)... the color is named after Cayenne pepper. Hope that helps! From a true US southerner, where Cayenne is used for cooking. :-)

Thank you so much to share your technique. If I want to do that but put some gloss one part how do I do
@TheLittleCraftHouseКүн бұрын
no worries. I would suggest sitting the pieces into a dish of rice/flour or something similar - where you can prop one of the loops up so it doesn't touch the one being glossed. Then once dry, change so the other one is supported.
