I wish you would do this with your back turned. It's easier to copy the movements instead of trying to mirror them.
@raechrysalis Жыл бұрын
In many of the tutorials on my school, I do them facing the back as well! All choreo classes I do facing the back. I will make sure all future tutorials include the back view - thanks for the input :)

Thank you so much for this! I’ve been struggling to figure out this movement on my own while pouring over other fan dance videos out there. Seeing the side view of this movement helped a lot! I need to go train my wrists in this movement to do it, but at least I now know what to train! 😊

Question: i see where i can pay to learn these skills on your link posted. However, do you teach a full choreography breakdown? I can learn these skills but I’m not talented enough to put it all together for a dance routine lol
@raechrysalis26 күн бұрын
Hi Dear! ✨🥰 Absolutely! In Level 1, you'll find full choreographies broken down step by step, making it easy to learn!

Thanks for the tutorial. What is the length of your fan veils? I have long ones and I'm thinking that the length of mine makes this more difficult to do. I got the hang of it after 30 minutes of drilling, but my hands keep getting bound up in the veils. Thanks!
@raechrysalis Жыл бұрын
Of course! yes, this one (and many technical moves) are more challenging with longer fans. The ones I use in this video are 48" from The Bamboo Closet (@thebamboocloset on IG). I always recommend starting with 45"-55" to start! The extra long ones are gorgeous, but can be a bit limiting, especially when learning.
@raechrysalis Жыл бұрын
I am actually considering adding some tutorials for extra long fans to Level 2 of my silk fan school (coming later this year)! For now, I teach with 48" silks for all the classes on the school.

There was a lot of loud snapping sounds in the background of this video's audio, It was really hard to pay attention and to listen. Great information though!

I am in an old building, so the floor is really creaky 😅 Unfortunately, there is not much I can do about the creaks. I'm happy you appreciate the information though! 💛

it's weird i feel like your turning your hand/arm?
@raechrysalisАй бұрын
Hi Tiffany ✨ In this tutorial the arms are above the head, the elbows slightly bend but it is the wrists who are doing the work and turning. Let me know if you have any questions ✨🥰
