great love to see your work. In this video, I had conducted an experiment with fabric glue. I also demonstrated washing the fabric in the same video. However, if you rub the fabric, the gold leaf applied to it might start to come off. Handmade items are always handled with care, and we also advise against rubbing silk-painted fabrics.

Hi all, Can we spray waterproof solvent to protect the gold leaf if this is on a wearing garment, like a scarf? or do you know how long the glue can bond the gold leaf if the fabric is hand washed / dry cleaned?

Waterproof Solvent: Not recommended as it can damage the gold leaf and fabric. Glue Bond Duration: The fabric glue should hold the gold leaf if handled gently. Hand wash in cold water with mild detergent and avoid scrubbing the gold leaf. Dry cleaning might weaken the adhesive over time.

Thank you so much for your beedback. I washed the fabric that's why because i want to know the result and result was good. But don't dip thw fabric for so long. And do not rub the fabric

That was my experiment, which i tried with gold leaves at the end of the video. i washed the fabric in washing powder for 2 minutes. Do not rub the fabric. But honestly, i never tried this for any product

These are simple ordinary gold leaves whice are mostly using in paintings and furniture makeover. You can use these leaves with fabric glue.

Apply salt on wet fabric, but do not turn on the fan. Salt takes time to affect the colors, so your fabric or paint should remain wet. One important thing to note is that the salt effect works best with silk paints or silk dyes.

Gold or silver leaves are very soft and sensitive because these leaves are extremely thin and very good for fabric . Don't use foil.

Don't dip the fabric in water for more than 5 minutes . Use fabric glue, which is made only for fabric like pebeo fabric glue, or if you can get better quality glue, use that one.
