Ok, let me just say that THE ONLY HEAT DAMAGE I have are the two front strands in the front of my hair that I showed. And it’s not severely damaged. Also the curls on the top of my head are naturally loose. The longer my hair grows the looser it gets. If I were to cut the tiniest bit of the front the curls would be a littler tighter. And also as far as I know my curls are 4a. I do not have tight coils my curls are looser. There is no reason anyone should be being rude in the comments. At the end of the day it’s just hair. :)

I have a little tip that I just learned about my natural hair, I didn’t comb or brush it out . I separated it while under the water in the shower and put it in big twist , and when I went to dry it , the hair was already basically detangled on it own . Also I purchased an onson 3 in 1 blow dryer , hot air dryer and straightener , it cuts the blowing and straightening time in half , and it didn’t damage my hair at all . Also I got a 2 in 1 curler/straightener with twisted ceramic plates and heats in 30 seconds , look into ladies !

There's nothing wrong with being a straight haired natural people should explore the things natural hair is capable of. When it comes to multiple passes you know what works best for your hair and you added heat protectants. If I could suggest doing less passes on the parts with heat damage because it should be easier to straighten than other parts of your hair it could lead to less breakage in the long run especially if you tryna grow your hair out. Your hair looks really full and your results were beautiful btw

We need to stop apologising for liking our hair straight It’s like some people really throw the “self-hate” card when a person of color straightens their hair Personally I used to love flat ironing my hair because it just looks amazing , African hair looks so good in a natural or straight state . I’m so used to my natural hair , I literally jump in the shower and it’s there 😹 so I also like straightening it cause I’m all about keeping things switched up constantly 🤷🏾 idk like having heat damage shouldn’t be something we should apologise for since it’s OUR hair 😹 And all these natural community huns that come after you , they don’t even buy yo shampo ... they don’t buy your conditioner, they don’t pay your rent ... they certainly don’t sit or help you during those 4+/- hours on ya washday 😹 The natural hair community makes us feel bad for relaxing , straightening , bleaching etc. ITS YOUR HAIR SIS 😹😹😹 do what tf you want ... the only thing that matters tbh is that your hair is healthy I guess Wanna bleach ? Bleach Wanna straighten your hair every week ? Do it Wanna relax / perm /texlax ? DO IT Do whatever you want with your hair ... cause the beautiful part is that our hair grows as long as we live , so if you don’t like something then you can chop and start again eh

@@danielleking8520 no problem! I’ve been natural for 9 years and have wasted so much money thus far! It is inevitable in order to find what your hair needs, but I did waste A LOT of time and money buying and trying everything I saw these girls on YT using. First find what porosity your hair is, then try to find what products are not as harsh as others, and go from there. Sometimes the products that our hair love are the ones with harsh chemicals in it, use it anyway!! If it works for you and your hair is growing and flourishing it doesn’t matter! Good luck 😊
