My hair is fine like this. It's pretty easy to coax straight, but I can't get it to stay that way lol. I love how gentle you are when detangling. Some styles are happy to rip out their client's hair on camera, then get upset when their viewers mention it 🤦🏾‍♀️

This is my hair. It looks thick in twistouts and braidouts and then is soooo fine when I get it pressed so I only press like once or twice a year. I always miss my big hair, lol. But you did this by adding the curls. I may ask for curls next time instead of a bone straight press. She shine is excellent!

Do you change the blow dryer or flat iron heat settings for fine hair? My hair is fine like hers and I’m starting to realize my hair can’t take the type of heat other people’s hair can 😔. I thinking about buying a whole new blow dryer and flatiron because mines just gets too hot. Also, I laughed at the end when all her curls fell 😩😂not in a negative way, but because my hair does the same thing it’s unbelievable how hard it is to hold a good curl.

Shonda Smith silk elements heat protectant spray. She also uses ION heat protectant which can be used very liberally and does not leave hair sticky or tacky.

We're supposed to depends on that individuals hair though I believe my hair use to take alot more heat but as I've gotten older I have to change my heat setting and my whole technique actually now I round brush makes it Fuller and last a lot longer straight than just a flat iron alone.Thats just me though
