To combat humidity for a silk press try roller setting the hair first then flat iron the hair using the chasing method. I use John Frieda frizz eaze serum for the flat iron and their moisture barrier hairspray to set the style in place

Huge fan just found your channel as I too am in my natural hair journey mine looks nothing like yours!! It’s hard to keep it moisturized. And I use a ton of water. And deep conditioning. Have a great day.
