"An Evening With Silk Sonic" was a masterpiece. If you listen closely, the album told a "story" from start to finish. Can't imagine we won't get a 2nd album; seems inevitable from the response of the audience. Do reaction videos from their Live performances from last year. Fly As Me at the Soul Train Awards and Leave the Door Open at the Grammys. Truly an album for the ages! 🎶🍾

"Put On A Smile" reminds me of 2 songs from my younger days: "I Wish It Would Rain", 1968, by David Ruffin & The Temptations & "In The Rain", 1971, by The Dramatics. I think that Anderson was channeling James Brown in "777", because in the beginning of the tune, he sounds a little like James Brown. Also, if the slot machine you're playing hits 7 in all 3 slots, you hit the jackpot, depending on the machine. But, it sounds like that Anderson's playing Craps in this song; hitting 7 on a roll is a winner.

They left the door open, where feeling pretty fly, thinking that after last night they were on a roll then had their lives where taken away with demands and ended up smoking out the window and ending it. Heartbroken at first, putting on a smile and in pain they make their way to the casino and things are improving fun and on the tear again. Then there is Skate, all going smooth, gliding forward then Blasting off into out of this world happiness. Best album ever!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥Bit of a story from start to finish me thinks, no track skipping here, amazing. Magic, start to finish. Great reaction 🐨👏🏼Bootsie said Anderson is Silk, Bruno is Sonic. We can only hope this is the first of many albums. All favourites for how they rolled them out and for the the picture they painted with the concept. Love it all.

Yeah you on point wit the sequence, like a story, when you check the order of the tracks. That said, I saw the 1st 3 videos quite a bit, but just hearing their work vocally on these other tracks, it’s hard to settle on 3. Bruno sings out his damn mind on put on a smile. Ladies gonna be throwin Pattie’s like they used to do @ Luther Vandross & Teddy P. concerts. But fav now is Blast Off, just other worldly, & definitely seems to nod to Earth, Wind & Fire. The blend their doin with they’re voices is so musically beautiful & profound. Kudos to acknowledging the skating ‘era’. Having been through all of these eras myself, this project is amazing! And shout out to the James Brown in New Orleans vibe on 777. Great reaction! Happy trails!
