Agree, the Daniel Smith 12 and 24 half pan sets are a great set and well-priced. It does the hard part of choosing the essential colours for you. You really can’t go wrong with the 12 pan set whether you are a beginner or experienced. They are really well thought out, quality sets.

Thank you for sharing your Plein Air and drawing portable kits. I’ve been trying to put a plein air kit together, but I over pack too and I don’t have my little red wagon any more. Thank you for sharing your portable kits. It was very helpful in working on putting my own WC travel kit together. It was also enjoyable walking thru your sketchbook projects. I think we all have those partially filled sketchbooks lurking everywhere. We just never seem to quite 100% fill a book before launching another. Why? I do no know. It's a creative mystery I suppose.

I like the collapsible/folding water container in your painting kit. I searched Amazon but don’t see anything like it. Would you please share the brand, or where you got it, or a better description than my: ‘folding water bucket’ 🙂 . I have several collapsible water containers but nothing as flat as yours. Thank you.
