Yes, the first time I ever visited Bali was January 1, 2012. I arrived after midnight when all the fireworks were going off on Kuta and Seminyak beach. I fell in love with the island plus the most friendly ppl you will ever meet anywhere. I had been visiting Bali every winter from 2012-2020. I haven’t been back to Bali since Covid. So much had happened in my life where I wasn’t able to travel. I plan on returning to Bali in 2024/25.

There are other vegetarian foods besides pecel, the name of the food is "Gado Gado" containing vegetables, potatoes, rice cake, tofu, tempeh, boiled eggs, plus peanut sauce. I don't know if the eggs are vegetarian or not. So don't eat eggs if you don't like eggs.

If you go to Indonesia, maybe you should go to Bhumi Durian in Yogyakarta, the durian there is really delicious, the size is big, and the price is hefty but it's really worth it. and the reviews of the place are very good 😁
