Hi Glenn thanks for taking us along for this walk and the history even though it a sad day with the pit disaster and the old railway history, can remember walking through dalby forest on my tabular hills walk with footpaths going every which way and no waymarkers for miles so know what you mean sure cheers you up when you come across a waymarker knowing your going the right way lol anyway all the best nigel

I really enjoyed this one there’s a lot of Mining Heritage around my local area and I’m an ex miner myself and several generations of miners in my family . and yeah I think when Walking through woodland at this time of year with all the leaves on the ground it’s hard to see the paths, I’ll have to go back in Spring because the woodland has a carpet of blue bells atb mate cheers Glenn 👍❤️

A nice walk. Was following you along on the OS Map and Google Street Map and enjoyed the commentary throughout. In answer to your question at 11m:36s "Look at this for a lovely house, Would you like to live here"? ...... err Yes! lol There's always some nice houses in these slightly rural locations and they're always interesting to see along the way.
