I love drawing mandalas. I usually draw my general shapes as you have done and fill in lots of detail with pen, sometimes adding colour at the end. I love the idea of making the shapes with colour from the outset then adding colour detail on top. I can't wait to have a chance to paint something like this. These summer days are a bit more full than I would like...not enough painting aka R&R time. Saving for future reference and I hope after a next-Monday deadline I can sit out back with paints. That sounds glorious. Thanks for sharing this. ❤

Try adding a bit of QOR paint to another brand while wet, like Daniel smith, and watch how QOR explodes across the first paint. And the magenta/teal paints have become one of my favorite color combinations. Thank you for this video.
