I carry a Silky Gomboy 240 and a Silky Katanaboy 500 out for my adventures. They are incredibliy effective. Easy to harvest all the dead wood around my camp. As you showed, it's easy to cut a plate with just a few pull strokes on the saw.
@gcruishank96633 жыл бұрын
I've got the 500 as well and its amazing. Such a great blade. So easy to cut through logs up even 16" if you needed to.

Thats so odd I got a Pocket Bout 170 today and its the first Silky Saw I have had and they are totally amazing. The Katana Boy is something else, thanks for the great video Ben

I just purchased this saw off amazon. $130 and free shipping at the moment. My honest opinion is, love the saw, perfect in every way. I can't see the need for the bigger one either. It seems like (6'2" tall) this saw maximizes the use of my reach and length. I can't see getting any additional benefit from the longer one, give the mechanics of a sawing motion.

Sweet deal, here in Europe it sells for $220 give or take. :)))

awesome review! I feel when im using the Silky Katanaboy i would have one hand on the back of the handle holding normally but the front would be above ( Back hand facing up to sky ) it helps to keep the downward Pressure ) Stay safe and stay awesome Mr Ben and everyone!

@@TonchyShultz sure they are high quality saws so aren’t the cheapest option. But boy does it cut like a chainsaw and is certainly is lighter to carry into the woods 👍
