the help and water mixture can be used in the ratio that best works for your hair. the gel is very strong full strength, but it will smooth your hair better if your hair is more resistant. it will be difficult to get through the cast on your curls. the results will be a very silky smooth finish on 4a, 4b or 4c hair.

Your results are lovely! I've always been natural and this is how I've straightened my entire life. In the 90s I would hit those roots with a marcel lol I haven't straightened my hair in years bc all the products I used to use have been discontinued! Miss Cool setting lotion, Hindu Sheen, Aveda Elixir! So it's been wash n gos and short cuts ❤

I don't think I am familiar with magnetic rollers. I do recall you mentioning the foam. The demo was really easy to follow. That is cool how you rolled the hair up. I haven't seen anyone do that but I did get it when you explained why. LOL at the section of what not to do. LOL. The curls look really nice and shiny for sure and that is great it is soft. Love the results and super cute top.

Thank you so much. I am thankful for your feedback. The magnetic rollers are used in salons a lot, but they are sold in sally's I have them twice this size for my longer hair. You don't have to use heat with them. The setting lotion makes it so shiney!

Yes, the end papers are great for smoothing the ends. My ends smooth down without them, so I don't use them. They add dryer time for me. Using the papers made it easier for shiny results in the beginning when I was just learning.

Your hair came out beautifully! I have these rollers in 4 different sizes, depending upon the style I am going for that week. I used these all while I was transitioning from perm to natural. If someone is trying for the first time, I might add these tips. Keep a water bottle , before I apply my curl creme, I make sure the section I am rolling is nice and damp. Use a wide tooth comb to make sure there are no knots or tangles. I then go in with a rat tail comb to further smooth that section. Curls come out soft and bouncy. Mine will last a whole week if I roll it every night. Be sure curls are completely dry before taking rollers out.

for night time roll into BIG pin curls, same pattern as rollers: 4 down the middle and 2 or 3 on each side. You will save the curl and still be smooth. God bless you darling. really nice video.

Hey Lorna! I didn't sit under for the full two hours. I did an hour and a half with heat, then the rest was just air drying. The measurements are almost 1part gel to 3 parts water? But, you have to mix it to match your hair. You have very full hair, with thicker strands. You may want to mix in a little more gel. I don't have very full hair and my strands are thin. So this mix works for me. When you apply the setting lotion it should make your hair gel slick. If it doesn't, add more gel.

Did you let it air dry? I keep seeing videos of this roller method but they use these industrial salon size sit under dryers and I'm wondering if I can just let it air dry or use a blow dryer cause I don't have the sit under the dryer. After they take down the curlers, they also add cling wrap or a silk wrap and then go under the dryer for another 10-15 mins but you didn't do that and it's an absolute relief. Also, my hair is the more loose curls type (I don't know my hair type) and about armpit length so I was wondering if I needed to section smaller or use smaller rollers to get that straight look?

Your parts should be even, though, to ensure EVEN drying of the hair placed on each roller. The roots won't be so wavy either

I'm sorry to hear that. You may not be adjusting your hair to dry enough. If your hair had even a hint of moisture, it will revert. Try leaving your rollers in even after you get out from under the dryer. I hope this helps
