It came out cute! So the key to a lasting and smooth rollerset is that the hair is wet while doing it and you keep the tension tight. Get you some lotta body wrap lotion and put that in your hair after wash and after you moisturize. Each section should be the same size or slightly smaller than the roller, gently comb thru the section/apply roller and even tension as you roll then secure with clip/cover. Spray your hair down once you're done so it's wet all over and then sit under the dryer til it's dry. I don't recommend air dry roller sets bc it'll be crinkly everytime, although I personally love that look! Super cute and happy rolling!🤎 new subbie!

listen, rollers set are AMAZING, good for split ends, good for dry hair, and helps the moisture hold on the hair... im a stylist, and im also dominican, so i think i was doing rollers before i was born ahahahah so next time you have to be under the dryer for at least an hour, especially cause those hooded dryers are not really powerful... but i think it came out beautiful, it looks stunning and its not that youre putting direct heat to your hair...

Dear Friends of God......................Please research God's Time/Calendar in Genesis 1:14 before a False Sabbath law is enforced! Actions are in progress to honor a Sabbath day, “Green Sabbath”, “Laudato Si, par. 237”, etc. Already today, there are Sunday laws written on government books. The true Sabbath Is not Friday, Saturday, Sunday, etc. The true Sabbath is calculated by true time, Genesis 1:14. An example of God’s Time: The first week.....the new moon day, the six work days and the Sabbath day. The second, third and fourth week........six work days and then the Sabbath day. There is never, ever, ever five weekly Sabbaths in any one of God’s given months as it is on other calendars. Genesis 1:14 is a commandment from God. We are to use the sun, moon and stars to calculate the Sabbaths, etc., not the Gregorian calendar or any other man-made time. ((((((( I understand, under this world system, we use the Gregorian time for work days, doctor’s appointments, etc. )))))) The Sabbath commandment is one of the Ten commandments listed in Exodus 20 and It is just as important as the other nine commandments. It is to be kept! God has three category of days in the Bible, the new moon day, the six work days and the Sabbath day. God’s months start with the new moon day, which is the first day of the month, the beginning of the month. The Gregorian calendar do not start its months with the new moon day. The new moon day falls anywhere and everywhere on the Gregorian calendar. Sometimes, on the famous Gregorian calendar, the new moon day falls on the “Gregorian Seventh day Saturday Sabbath.” How can it both be the first day of the month and the seventh day Sabbath? This along should help a person see that the Gregorian calendar is not true time and that the Biblical Sabbath should not be calculated by it. The Sabbath is a sign between God and His people Israel and whosoever join themselves to them. One law is to Israel and to the stranger. Exodus 12:48,49 ********* Now, we who keep the Sabbath by the lights in heaven, do not claim to always be on the true Sabbath day. We know that there are times we are not on the right day. But we do believe that Genesis 1:14 is the method to calculate God’s Sabbath. We do not fully understand God’s Time yet. God will give more light.********** ====================================== Also, research the "Seven Noahide Laws" and Education Day U.S.A. From my research online, these laws are Jewish laws taken from their writings, namely the “Talmud.” The first law in “The seven Noahide laws" forbids the worship of idols. According to Jewish writings, the worship of Jesus, Yahushua, etc........is idolatry and is punishable by death, decapitation. Will these laws be enforced on all nations??? Research the connection between the United Nations, The Presidents, President Bush, President Trump, etc. and “The Seven Noahide laws" THESE "SEVEN NOAHIDE LAWS". SEEMS TO BE VERY DANGEROUS TO CHRISTIANS AND TO ALL MANKIND!! ====================================== Lastly, there is much talk online that the Jewish people occupying the land of Israel today are not the true Israelites and that the true Israelites are today now scattered throughout the nations, is this true? There are also other groups of people who say that they are the true Jews. Jesus said in Revelation 2:9 & 3:9 that someone is saying that they are Jews but are not but are the synagogue of Satan. If Jesus warns us about a synagogue of Satan in Revelation 2:9 & 3:9, should not we be concern? If the people residing in the land of Israel not true Israel, then who are they and what is their agenda for the world? Who are the true Bloodline Jews? HAVE A GOOD DAY FRIENDS OF GOD..........GLORY TO THE FATHER AND SON! The

@britvacious3 жыл бұрын
lol it’s funny when I watch these roller set videos on KZbin & ya’ll try to keep the curls. In the north (NYC) we do rollerset to stretch the hair so we can wear our hair straight. When my hair was relaxed I got a rollerset and then wrapped my hair. My hair was extremely healthy because of the indirect heat of the hooded dryer and it had nice body. Now that I’m natural, I do my rollerset and either blow dry my roots or flat iron my roots (not the body of my hair). It’s a healthy alternative from the two forms of direct heat a lot of women use. My hair can’t take a blow dryer and a flat iron 🤷🏾♀️ Usually when I wanna wear curls I use flexirods. I’ve seen women use perm rods also. Buhh normally I associate rollersets with soft “curls” meant to be a healthier alternative for stretching/straightening the hair. - u cute tho 💕 and your hair looked great!

Tension rollers are the best for roller setting kinky hair. The teeth on them will keep your ends straight if you pay a lot of attention to them. I'm glad you had gotten such a good result w/ magnetic rollers though! And you're right, the style only lasts a day! Superrrr cute! You gotta sit under that dryer for a minute though so the middle can dry good. Setting your hair on flexi rods at night to save your curls is a God sent too!

My friend sent your video to me and let me tell you, I laughed from beginning to ending. I love your effortless commentary. I hit subscribe 5 mins in🤣. I'm going to try this style with much bigger rollers. My hair is just pass my shoulders 😩

You did a great job with your first roller set! I agree with others who suggested smaller sections and I think it you’d sat under the dryer for about an hour before air drying, your hair would have set better. For a mousse, try Jane Carter’s Wrap and Roll foaming mousse or the mousse by the Doux. To preserve my roller sets, I pin curl my hair using bobby-pins. You don’t have to make small sections, large ones work fine.

Beautiful and bouncy! Use Lotta Body it's the best for roller sets. Also if it is damp when taking rollers out put roller back in that part and sit in the dryer a little longer. Make sure you roll the front very tight to get more of the look you want. But it is so beautiful, I like how your texture shows thru because it is beautifully yours. If you wrap it at night you will loose the curl but still have a nice straightened look. You would have to roll it or "old school" pin curl it to keep the curl over night.

Gurrrrrrl, you betta' work. Those curls are absolutely beautiful--love it, love it, love it!! I have done wet sets on my natural hair with magnetic rollers and bendable rollers and I like it a lot but I don't like the process--ugh--it's a lot! Thanks for posting this video as I may try magnetic rollers again BUT like you I have to get good sleep and with BIG, magnetic rollers "ain't nobody got time to go without sleep!" The secret that I found to keepin' the style for a few days is rolling it up each night with the bendable rollers. You can use fewer bendable once your hairs "get in the groove" and know what's up. LOL!

Bravo sis! Your rollers were SO NEAT! The final style was adorable.❤ I think if you used less product to set the curls and used a tiny bit of oil when removing the rollers there wouldn't have been a white caste on your curls.

@@KekeJI was told by a beautician, the last one to dry is the roller in the middle in the top half way. I always take that roller out first. If it's not dry I know other sections aren't. For me I would use smaller rollers so it would last longer.
@face16474 жыл бұрын
@@KekeJ it came out very cute. If it's not dry, I would place it back on the roller.

Even rags bothered my sleep. So back in the ol days. My mum made a special neck pillow for me. I’d sleep in the recliner when she wrapped my hair. Today you can fine many pillows for your neck. No lie I slept like a baby compared to feeling things in my head. As well it came out neat as a pin! The longer the hair I had the less curl I had. But when she rolled or rag tied my hair I had curls and full body till we washed my hair. She got the idea from a neck brace. Bought the foam and made me a sleep neck pillow. Damn if she didn’t make the first neck pillow out there. This was 1981.
