Hi there every tool has a week spot 97% of the time it's the user. Most people rush to cut the wood at 100 miles an hour and damage the saw then say it's rubbish but remember slow and steady wins the race I've used them for around 3 months now with no issues Faster and better than the Laplander and even my bow saw and buck saw can't cut as good. I've just bought the katana sword but not used it yet due to lock down here over in the UK but soon as I get out will be testing it to the max stay safe HH

That is a good point!

There’s also a safety issue with fast erratic sawing. If the blade gets pinched, off with your fingers.

Would you go smaller ? Like say a silky Pocketboy ?

Not as useful

While some have said the Pocketboy is amazing, and I am sure it doesn't do a bad job, I never went with it for two reasons. One the blade length is just too short for my personal preferences. Second, and more importantly the thickness of the blade is less than that of the Gomboy and when you start to have a very thin blade for a saw it becomes fragile.

Some people say that these could 'buckle' on you. Is it what you mean by 'snapping'? I don not know what they mean by this. Once again, thank you for your valuable review :)

Buckling would be the blade flexing in the cut causing unnecessary friction to the cut. I mean people have shown these blades breaking.
