Siller - Sutter Buttes Tower Project

The Buttes- odd. I was on the West side at the golf course. Pulled out and decided to take a left up a 1/8 mile to view the valley with my daughter and grandkids. Put the car in park and out of no where a security guard was already behind me, dust from his speeding up the hill and he very rudely told me to leave. Another time, drove to the east side, got out walking around on a small dirt road and had a helicopter with a guy hanging out with gun- told me "it's not safe, get out". Weird place.

great video. i met scott a couple months back on the top of mt. pluto. i've stacked quite a few self supporters and countless monopoles but never had the opportunity to use a helicopter.

Interesting video, information and nice high definition camera work. However, I sure wish you had chosen better music, especially for a place that is considered one of the most important sacred sites for Maidu and Wintun Indians of the Sacramento Valley. This is a very special place and I got the impression that High Sierra Video doesn't have a clue.

Daniel Barth take a motrin Dan... They know more than you think ... about where and what and why the Buttes is protected or they would not be returning for the next job. I would have played Journey "don't stop believing"

Great project Documentary, also good choice of operator keeping it "Local" and not going into the "Big corporate businesses darkside" with those orange guys lol, or the Country boys half way between sutter and oregon. Siller you need more Type 2 & 3 machines! only issue is somebody must have let a early 30's "up and coming pilot" dub the music, terrible choice, that "emo" "hippster" garbage nobody over 45 years old cares to hear.
