Good matches! I wouldn't mind if Game Freak increased the difficulty a bit in Pokémon games or at least had an option to select a difficulty setting. I mean, sure it is Pokémon so it is never meant to be difficult, but it would at least be nice to have the option for more experienced players.

5:45 Bro the Elite Four have all optimally ev trained pokemon with items you can't obtain until post E4, and use strategies that are straight up banned in comp lmao. Theres a reason they got nerfed so hard in Platinum. No E4 member should be using min maxed pokemon with banned minimize strategies when you're using your mixed ev/iv pokemon with leftovers and sitrus berries lmao.

Pyra/Mythra gameplay entertains me more than most fighters for sure (totally no bias). But to me, playing Pyra is more important than Mythra and while Mythra can close out stocks, you do need fundies as Aegis, and primarily for Pyra as how good your fundies are shows once you switch to Pyra. And Game Freak needs to have the standards of their modern Pokemon games to be like Pokemon Black and White 2, aka the best games in the franchise since those games did everything right while being sequels to Black and White as well as fixing the problems of Black and White. A difficulty setting would be really nice to have, but knowing Game Freak, they will make their games easy as hell and boring, knowing Pokemon fans are hiveminded into buying the newest mainline Pokemon game regardless of how shit the game is and modern Pokemon games will never have a sense of difficulty except for the Totem Lurantis fight (even resists may not be enough) and Ultra Necrozma fight (difficult unless you have Zoroark to cheese this fight out) from the Ultra Sun and Moon games. And I could be in the comments all day about criticizing the many design choices the Pokemon devs decided to make, which were Ls, but I got Pyra/Mythra gameplay to enjoy from this video!

I normally HATE seeing Pythra succeed... Yet on you, Silin, you pilot them so well I just can't help but be impressed... You play very well and have opened my eyes to a sad truth... Pyra/Mythra is Pokemon Trainer but made into a swordie DLC... Mythra is Squirtle, and Pyra is both Charizard and Ivysaur in one swordie. Plus their switch is way faster than PT.... As a PT main, this just saddens me.

5:40 Not to be that guy... But in my case and most people I talked to's cases... It's moreso that the Elite 4 had an unfair advantage due to having access to items and features of the game that you yourself at that time are not able to access and use for an even playing field. It's not that it was hard, it's that they basically were cheating you. You don't have access to perfect statting pokemon without rng, and the held items they had you could not find anywhere but the post game. That's not a 'difficulty spike' that's straight up 'unfair advantage'.

yes, Pokemon stadium is hard because there is no way to level up. In normal Pokemon games (and many other RPGs) a lot of problems can be solved by simply leveling up

I love this channel but Pyra and Mythra are the CHEAPEST characters in competitive Smash. Thier reach and moveset is jacked. You literally have to dance around them and dodge to get that opportunity to Smash them lol. I love your link gameplay however. That is God tier no Joke!
