Nah, she's still just outside the hitbox, even with interpolation. If you look at the image Collin posted and compare it with where Lucina's body ended up between the frames (not the sword) she's still just outside.@@im_Spade_

0:46 This will be the second time I point this out on a Sillin vid, but fun fact, Greninja’s up-smash straight up doesn’t work against Ganon or Link on that platform. Only those two characters. Yes it can fall out randomly, but those in particular will always fall out there.

Also just for reference, Greninja has 4 multi-hit moves which fall out. In order of likelihood: Up-Smash, Up-Air, Water Shuriken, Back-Air AND honorable mention Gren’s Counter, Substitute, has a high chance of missing the opponent when using the side angled versions and generally doesn’t work well.

There’s layers to this, they had several options and just chose the wrong one repeatedly They could’ve jumped up after the DA and gotten Up Air (which could either dragdown into a Tech Chase or just lead into another Up Air into the blast zone), they could’ve full hop Naired/short hop Side B’d onto the platform to cover tech options, they probably could’ve gone for a FAir, but they chose our broken Up Smash twice even after seeing it fail

3:22 Um AKCHUALLY (someone was gonna say it) it's not all empty space, this game has interpolation on it's hitboxes, which basically connects one frames hitboxes to the matching ones(if present) on the next frame, in a straight line. Ganon's sword is swung very fast and it causes weird blind spots, making it not hi as high as the effects and animation would have you believe

Ganon’s best move is up air. Combos out of pretty much any soft hit, low end lag so you can spam it when recovering, and one of the strongest in the game. Just wish the spike hitbox was softer so you can combo into bair 5:35

3:30 for anyone who doesnt know, this isn't actually true. Smash hitboxes don't just teleport from place to place leaving empty space between them, otherwise Marth forward smash would do the same thing. What happens is that the hitbox moves from Frame 1 -> Frame 2 and the game CONNECTS the hitbox from Frame 2 to Frame 1, to simulate motion. It literally just draws a straight line (shortest distanct) from Frame 1 to Frame 2. This happens with every single character in the game, and usually it's not noticeable at all, but with Ganondorf in particular, his sword is so incredibly massive, that when you draw a straight line from Frame 1 to Frame 2, you end up losing a really large potion of Forward Smash's arc

Tier lists are overrated. They don't really matter until both players are close to the skill ceiling, so top 1% / pro players, then those inherit properties each have start to matter more when poor decisions and mistakes are minimal. The only exception is Steve, he's just so far ahead of everyone else he reaps those advantages at most skill levels not just the top.

Good matches with the Dorf! Ganondorf is just one of the most satisfying Smash characters to watch when played well! I really would love to see Ganondorf finally climb out of the bottom tier with a speed and recovery buff in the next Smash game! 9:35 listen, not being a hater, im not disagreeing, but all im saying, is minecart is a lot easier to react to online when the dude youre playing against does it 20 times in a row, exactly the same way, id go as far as to say its not actually even reacting at that point

It was all reaction. I inputted the move AFTER seeing minecart on the screen. Did I anticipate it? Yes, of course, it's easier to react when you expect something is coming. But I didn't pull the trigger before it was out. Compare it to the F-Smash against the minecart, which was not on reaction, that was a read. And online being easier to react is a weird statement given the fact that you have lag which results in you having LESS time to react.
