Franky is the Best! Without him as a shipwright they'd have died countless times. It also doesn't matter what scene he's in, cuz it's always absurd and funny, like any pervy-gear-head uncle showing up and saying things would! Also the voice actor for his anime character is legendary (I remember first hearing his distinctive voice in Great Teacher Onizuka, and that was over 20 years ago!)

The movie is basically an AU version of the Drum Island Arc, a "what if the Alabasta Arc, Skypiea Arc, and Water 7/Enies Lobby arcs came before this arc" kinda scenario.
