I live in a country with lots of islands and remote places. If you have a medical emergency in a remote place, an army helicopter will take off and lift you to the nearest major hospital. You'll have an operation, get all the medication you need and stay at the hospital as long as you need to. Even if you are a tourist, even if you are an illegal immigrant, or anyone else who's never paid a dime into our health system. And you'll pay nothing. Now, please realize that this happens in a country with a GDP per capita that is *less than half* of that of the US, and you'll realize how much you've been screwed by these corporations. Did I mention that our average life expectancy is 3 to 4 years more than that of the US? Did I mention that the term "medical debt" does not exist in my language? Healthcare is not a commodity. Human dignity is not a commodity. And yes, we pay taxes, because this is the cost of living in a society. And, at the end of the day, we pay far less for our healthcare system than you do for your health insurance, and nobody's claim gets denied by greedy people who get rich while you mourn your loved ones. The fact that you're not out in the streets all day, every day, demanding uninversal healthcare is beyond me. PS: Apologies if I bummed you out. I'm sure you'll find a funny video with cats to make you feel better while your fellow humans in need are suffering. I'm sure you'll send your thoughts and prayers to them, because surely magic works, right?

I recommend Hobby Lobby for handkerchiefs. Once you wash them and soften them, you're set! Have some class, use a handkerchief, not a piece of softened lint paper which usually breaks and leaves you with snot all over your hands.
