It's masterful to be able to take such grim topics like end of the world, testicle cancer scare, and fatherlessness and be able to make them funny and have everybody laughing by the end of the show; all while doing it clean. It's not something most comedians can do; Inspirational.

Most dirty comedians use it as a crutch to try to prop up weak material. That is one of two reasons why I prefer clean comedy… Because if the crowd is laughing and I am enjoying it, it clearly is because the comedy is strong. When dirty comics curse or have highly raunchy material, it gets some cheap shock laughs that amount to a laugh track on a TV show. We human beings are highly social creatures, so when we hear a lot of other people laughing at some thing, we consciously and unconsciously assume it’s funny. That’s the reason why laugh tracks are used - because they fool the home audience into thinking something is funnier than it actually is. Most comedians who are dirty use the cursing and dirty material for the same purpose… To make us feel like the material is funnier than it actually is. And even dirty comics who have good material include cursing in order to make us think the material is either very good or great, rather than just good. So I far prefer clean comics because they are not cheating and are not trying to trick my brain. Another reason I prefer clean comics is because my mind is a more beautiful and healthy place if someone is not constantly putting images into it of human excrement, private parts of men and women or of people having sex etc. I’m not saying I’m perfect and that I never curse when I get upset… But there is a difference between that and purposefully including it in my normal speaking. I don’t think it’s a big deal if someone I know in a rare moment of getting upset curses, But that’s also different than if it was part of their regular speech.

If you get insurance through an employer you can get it whenever your job starts (usually plus 30-90 days), but after that any changes to the plan can only be made during the “enrollment period” unless you have a kid, change marital status or someone dies. I didn’t know either that you can’t sign up whenever on your own initiative. That seems crazy

The State of NY needs to hire Zoltan Kaszas for the 2024 Open Enrollment for the ACA. I think it starts in October (?).. Good gig 👍. Zoltan is the voice for independent people who need access to affordable health care for himself and his family. Zoltan is the realist down to earth comedian out there. He touches on so many topics. Real topics that we do or feel ourselves. And the wonderful thing is that it is all okay!
