I love this song. Shreya performed phenomenally, Aishwariya and the excellent backup dancers presented the song beautifully. Definitely, a visual treat and you can just empathise with the song. I believe the backup dancers are the family's maids and them taking away the lamp was their way of teasing Paro. But I also believe the maids have a close bond with Paro and the family. Especially Paro's personal maid who joyously ran away with the lamp and Paro teasing her personal maid/friend the maid after retrieving and reviving the lamp from the torrential rain. This is how I interpreted the scene.
