Context to the song from the original music video for Gekka No Yasokyoku, this was copied off of one of the comments on the video and I translated the song according to this: "Mana and Kozi play the role of star-crossed lovers (the lady and the sad clown) who were parted by the entertainingly cruel Death (Gackt). Their souls are imprisoned inside dolls, which Yuki (a kind-hearted aristocrat) tried to unite by breaking the curse but was unable to. So Yuki's ghost and his aristocrat friend's (Kami) eternally retell the tragic story inside the haunted mansion and hope that the boy in the video clip can someday finish what they could not."
