THANK GOD Sony canned it. I want them to save Felicia for the next Tom Holland Spider-Man movie. With the super soldier serum/Cap DNA being established in Secret Invasion and with Kingpin officially being MCU now, they can actually do the best version of the Black Cat story from the Animated Series. The animated series was the only medium that did Felicia justice and didn't make her some boring AF Catwoman clone.

This movie sounds awesome.truth be told I don’t like the concept of separating Black cat from spider-man himself. That’’s one of my favorite marvel ships ever! I’m not a Mary Jane fan myself. We need Felicia in a movie alongside spider-man. I stand by that statement and I really want to see it get made someday. I would never say that you can’t make a good Black cat project without Spider-man but I will never love the idea of them being separated from each other. However this script does have potential and I always enjoy your reports. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Honestly i think its a solid script I would just change the chip angle, like instead he needs her DNA and not a chip in her body, you could even change the robot guy in the beginning of the movie into a man spider, same dialogue would work tarantula and scorpion could still be cybernetic and just be henchmen on loan from Osborn. That's really all i would change. I do like the black cat as hacker name though. I would keep that

You are correct- I was actually waiting for somebody to bring this up. The script goes out of its way to specify Witter as Stunner. If I had to guess why they made that change, maybe it's because they didn't want 2 characters named Spider Woman on that team to avoid confusion? But at that point, why wouldn't you just have Angelina instead of Witter? It's a *very* strange situation, for sure.

I really don’t think a Cinematic Universe would work for Spider-Man as I really think Andrew Garfield should have been the MCU Spider-Man and I’m not really this would ether as I seem to recall that Spider-Man and Venom get sent to another universe by Dr Octopus and Mr Negative as that’s where Black Cat and Silver Sable take over. That script has so many Yost related problems I don't know where to begin.... there are too many cameos, too many locations... you combined an international mercenary AND A LOCAL CAT BURGLER, WHERE SHOULD THE MOVIE BE SET, YOST?!... anyway, too many villains and the wrong villains while we're at it. Even barring "we're using these random Black Cat powers instead of, say. the interesting jinx powers because", you have a list of crafty criminal Spider-man villains and a list of the utter powerhouses that can beat the crap out of Spider-man without trying. Which villains should you use, Yost? Chameleon, Tombstone, SCORPION? And Stromm, why him of all people? He appeared in one issue where he was killed by Norman Osborn and he showed up in Spider-man 1 to be killed by Osborn. Alistair/Spencer Smythe, Miles Warren, Otto Octavius, no, use the guy who's known for two things: 1 Being Osborn's lackey and 2 being dead.
