Good Place to visit. Been a long time. Has any one been to City Of Rocks. That’s another good place too.

Delta is a star. She looks like a great dog but a little warm in that climate. The video encourages me to do some hiking in the Gila Wilderness. It has such a rich history. Thank you for a good video.

Oh she is a star, but she can handle hot weather just fine. We always like to go back to the Gila. It's a nice area.

Thanks for the video! I love NM. I must say, however, that I cringe every time I see someone hiking with a big dog off-leash. I have a 70 lb Standard Poodle and a 130 lb Rottie that join me on hikes, always on leash. Together they outweigh me by 25 lbs. The Rottie is friendly to people, but VERY dog-aggressive. A close encounter with another dog off-leash, even if it were not aggressive, would be a difficult situation for everyone concerned. PLEASE OBEY LEASH LAWS!!! They exist for a reason. Don't think that because your dog is mild-mannered that being off-leash would not cause a big problem for others, as well as for your dog.

Thanks for your comment. As you can see in the video, we are never around people while hiking and therefore my dog is off leash. Some areas are tricky to hike and it's safer for her and me that she is off leash. We had many encounters with other unleashed dogs, while mine is on a leash where I had to defend the both of us.
