Here are some interesting facts about the song: "Fly Robin Fly" was a huge commercial success, reaching #1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and becoming one of the biggest-selling singles of the year. It also topped charts in many other countries, including Canada, Australia, and the UK. The song features a driving disco beat, catchy melody, and memorable chorus that make it instantly recognizable to many people. The chorus, which consists of the repeated phrase "Fly, robin, fly," is one of the most memorable in disco music history. "Fly Robin Fly" was written and produced by Silvester Levay and Stephan Prager, who were also responsible for many other disco hits in the 1970s. The song was performed by three female vocalists, Penny McLean, Linda G. Thompson, and Ramona Wulf, who were members of Silver Convention. "Fly Robin Fly" helped to popularize disco music and was one of the first disco songs to achieve mainstream success. It paved the way for many other disco hits in the years that followed. The song has been covered and remixed many times over the years, and has been sampled in numerous hip-hop and dance songs, including "I Like to Move It" by Reel 2 Real and "Do It Again" by Chemical Brothers. Overall, "Fly Robin Fly" is a disco classic that helped to define the sound of the 1970s. Its infectious beat, catchy melody, and memorable chorus have made it a timeless favorite among disco fans around the world.

They didn’t get lost. There are a lot more talented musicians now than back then. It’s just that they don’t make it onto records anymore. It’s more economical now for recording studios to use one guy with a synthesizer than to hire a whole string section.

I adore the simplicity of this song, and that the majority of it was instrumental. That is a strong component of 70's dance music that i really miss, plus the music was real instrument orchestration, and not digital beats like 808's.

This was the Billboard #1 song the week I was born (late November, 1975). I've always been partial to this song. It's very minimal, at least vocal-wise, but the soaring strings make my spirit sing. Love these girls!

Girl, when this song came out in 75, I fell in love, I play it every I clean. I wasn't into Disco that much. but this was thier only big hit , you had famous people like Shannon, Donna Summer. I did happen to like the song the Hussle by Van Mccoy, it was his only hit song too ,before he passed away. I thought this was a whole group singing. love my 70s and 80s.

Wonderful song and video! I'm so glad to see at last these very nice living pictures on this song , that I knew for so much time , without knowing their interpreters, who are really beautiful. As said, in this great disco era, there was no need to be nude, or tattooed to be appreciated. Good music , good singing , and good dancing (in beautiful dresses) was largely enough...
