Silver iPad Pro 2024 & White Magic Keyboard Unboxing: Amazingly Thin & Light * Incredible Screen!

Check out my unboxing and review of the new 2024 iPad Pro 11 inch (M4) in Silver and the matching White Apple Magic Keyboard. Huge change from the previous generation iPad Pro and Magic Keyboard: much thinner and lighter weight. And the screen, with its new Tandem OLED display, is a delight. Super bright and vivid. Now it's just fingers crossed that there will be improvements to PadOS at the Apple developers' conference next month!

Silver white Magic Keyboard looks great. I might have preferred silver with black keys, but that doesn't exist so I'll go for the silver + white.

I wasn't sure about the white magic keyboard when I ordered it, but then when I did my in store pickup, and compared it with the black version when paired with the silver iPad Pro, there was no question that the white and silver was the better combo. I was worried that the keyboard might be too pale, but I'm not noticing any issues with it. It's really great so far. What size and color iPad Pro are you getting?

@@TheTechReviewer 11" silver. Should go well with my silver 12" MacBook, although that one has black keys. BTW, my 12" is only 920 g, meaning the 11" iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard is 104 grams (~1/4 lb) heavier.

Interesting data. My guess is that making this a two piece set is what is adding the extra weight...meaning that by making the two parts able to be separated (the keyboard and the iPad), you have to add extra material. I have the 16 inch MacBook Pro, and I know what you mean about the silver interior with the black keys. It's nice. But this is a fun new look, I think.😊 Hope you love your new iPad Pro!!

Do you realize that the design on the box spells the word 'PRO'? It took me a while to figure this out. Great review!

Thanks so much! Glad you found it to be helpful! As for the lettering, I stared at the box, and I can see the 'O' at the end, but I have a harder time seeing a 'P' and an 'R'...🤣

Thanks, @gokwolf!! It’s such a lovely combo…the new iPad Pro is just astonishingly thin and light…feels great to hold. And the Magic Keyboard is a big improvement from the previous version: lighter, thinner and more nicely made.

Great video as always, that set up looks super cool . I had the 2018 12.9 but I sold it for the mini 6 and I’m not disappointed it’s so handy and I really only using it for content and browsing the web. Thanks, Mary! I had the 12.9 inch 2022 briefly, but ended up exchanging it for the 11 inch model, as it was just too big for me. So for the 2024 iPad Pro, I really only considered the 11 inch size. And I'm very happy...it is really small and sleek, and that M4 processor should give great performance over time. And the screen is simply gorgeous. Loving it!! What is the weight in grams of the Magic Keyboard? And total weight with iPad/Keyboard compared to 2022 years edition?

Hi @Travellereleven! An unofficial source online reports that the 11 inch Magic Keyboard weighs 580 grams …assuming that is accurate, the 2024 combo should weigh 1024 grams. I don’t have figures for the 2022 iPad Pro and Magic Keyboard, but I do own both items and the new versions seem much lighter.

@@TheTechReviewer Old Magic Keyboard 11" is 607 g. Old iPad Pro 11" is 466 g. Total 1073 g. So there is a drop of only ~50 g / 0.11 lb

Strange the top back of box written in chinese? I know made there but the one I got and most it seems different under 1 tb usually all English and wifi or wifi+cellular, anyway is it just wifi? or both?
