Looks like a Chocolate Lab. I have never seen a Silver one, but have seen Black, Yellow, and Chocolate. I would think they would be grey like silver Dobermans. Read a little I guess if they are actually grey or silver the AKC classifies them as Chocolate Labs and if they are dark grey or Charcoal they are classified as Black Labs. My sister does Doberman rescue and usually has half a dozen of more on her ranch. Presently she has one Silver Doberman.

We have a silver lab. They are chocolate Labs missing a colour gene. When they are very small pups they are silver colour, they turn into a mink colour and then a Fawn colour when they mature. Their eyes go from blue to a golden colour. Lovely dogs

You are absolutely correct. For some reason she has many different looks and I get that comments quite often since she was a puppy. I get used to it LOL. When she is in the water, her fur looks like a chocolate lab. After she gets cleaned up and dried, her fur shows less chocolate color. Good observation!

LOL, only for those who have silver labs like you and me would understand and appreciate the complexity of this breed. Recently, some viewers said …I must be colorblind hahahaha that I can’t tell the difference between silver and chocolate color hahahaha. Thank you for your comment. Please watch her other videos when she was a puppy. Silver labs change their fur/eye color as they grow older. Their striking coat is similar to a diluted chocolate color, leading many to believe that the silver coat is due to a dilution gene affecting the chocolate color. In addition, a walk in the sun or stay inside the house, for example, might reveal that silver Lab's coat lightens or darkens in certain areas. Their color can also fade as they get older, just like how humans hair as we grow older. Another friend had a yellow lab and I named him Potter (long story again.) I am known for naming animals. One of my own dogs had a black eye....what do you think I named him?
