Our lab "spog" da dog got to learn over 50 commands including how to crawl. When our beloved Spog went blind and I saw him for the first time in that state, I almost exploded with tears and emotion. Rest in peace Spogy, you were one of a kind.

We commented to our vet that our lab loves stealing food and his response was “Labradors don’t steal food…… they inhale it!” And we just had to agree!!! Labradors are the best especially with kids but u have to watch that they don’t bowl the kiddies over! We had 2 at the same time… it was like living with a pair of food stealing hurricanes!!! Oh how I miss them soooo much… 😢 I will say that a Labrador doesn’t stalk like my collie! He can creep up on anything; he’s ALWAYS in stealth mode! 🐾 🐾❤️❤️

if food (or anything they covet) is within their reach, it's theirs! that's what I heard. We had a poodle when I was a teen, from a dog shelter. At first I didn't "like" poodles much, I thought they were a kind of "grandmas dogs" but they're such clever creatures!!!! We often went camping and my mother enjoyed fishing. She found littles creatures under stones in the river, to put on her hook. The poodle observed her. Then he learned all by himself to put his head under the water and brought her the nicest stones he "fished"!!! I had a Golden Retriever (2001 2018) and he was "my" dog, the greatest love of my life. ❤

I had a Lab/Newfie mix that would bring back driftwood logs which have multiple branches coming out of the trunk. Poor dog would take forever to find the right place to grab it so it would balance. RIP Josh

One of the funniest moments with my lab who has sadly passed away a couple years ago was when we went to the beach and he decided to drink sea water and his reaction when he spat it out he pulled the funniest face ever im told my back was turned when this was happening but it made everyone laugh, a happy memory of my best friend i will hold onto forever

You better believe it. You better have some room. I just got me a six month old golden lab and he is awesome. I named him sunny. Very clever so full of energy of course never a dull moment and wants to chew everything so I better keep lots of bully sticks around and chew toys, and of course play with him as often as possible.
